I do so love being lectured on opinions that we've not once aired; Don't you Dave? Nothing like people trying to bring you down a peg or two you never actually climbed. Sad feature of a weak Wum.
Smithy, the whole tone of the post is NOT to get too excited by one result against a dire side. What IS your problem? Btw, as an outsider, if you can actually throw a positive opinion into the thread, do you regard Henderson or Shelvey as the better option in that forward midfied role, or do you just have negatives to say.
Excelent, he is a top class player who can terrify any defence and when allowed to run at people will score at will.
Nelsen is a good old pro, but their defence looked totally leaden. Suarez in form against such flimsiness is a bad combination. A RVP, Mata, Aguero, Bale, etc will rip them a new one too. I like Redknapp and hope he can get some defenders and midfielders in the window, otherwise it'll be embarrassing.
I love Redknapp, he is one of a dieing breed he needs to get players in who are ready to bleed for the club or he has no chance. Look at some of the name`s he has playing for him, they should be so much better than they are.
I stated it in the match thread & one other: we beat what was in front of us as we should expect to or words to that effect. I assumed maybe naively that would be interpreted as meaning QPR were weak (as would their points tally, league position etc) maybe I assumed too much? Your posts tone & structure suggested us Liverpool fans were in some way getting carried away with the victory & needed reminding how abysmal QPR were. I had not read a single post from a LFC supporter that warranted that reaction (point them out if I missed them). Soooo; you created a false, overly optimistic LFC opinion out of thin air so you could refute it & give excuse to putting our universally accepted minor achievement down. Unless of course you were merely responding to the voices in your head. I suppose that could be classed as a real conversation if merely isolated to you..... That do you Diego?
Exactly. In the middle of the Christmas fixtures why the hell go crazy when you're 3-0 up. "He who cannot be dropped" has played every single minute of Prem football for us this season and despite being way below his brilliant best has provided 5 goals and 8 assists. So who thinks we'd have been better off without him? Who would have got those goals and assists? Shelvey? Sahin? Henderson? Don't make me laugh. He's 31 and (after carrying the club on his shoulders for many years) I wouldn't argue that at times he doesn't have the energy he used to. However, surely that's even more reason why he shouldn't be looning around chasing down every single QPR move when we're 3 goals to the good. Fair enough to criticise him if he's not chasing down in games we're losing but if he produces a couple of lung bursting runs that get us goals against Sunderland or the manks will people still be complaining that he wasn't expending all his energy in a game we were totally comfortable in?
That was a very good first half performance. Yes the opposition were defensively poor, but that shouldn't take anything away from the fact that you played some good football & finished the game as a contest within 20 minutes.
To be fair the last place you want to be to avoid united fans is on the Liverpool board They live here.
With the type of football you guys play you have shown that If the opposition stands off even slightly you will tare them another one like Norwich/Fulham/QPR(1st half) Similar to the first few games of the season Swansea had(same style) Having said that you out played Utd with 10 men but somehow lost so obviously depends what team turns up... Things are not looking that bad at LFC considering the youngsters you have? You would have been better off keeping Carroll though as you have no plan B everyone wants to play the pretty stuff but when your In the brown stuff you cant beat the crosses Into the dangerman In the box like Carroll at the end of last season..I think If BR wants to pass It Into the net all the time you will continue to struggle..
