If you had the choice would you keep beever for next season,in my opinion he has some silky skills but just doesnt score enough goals, but on the other hand he is a pest to any defender that faces him, his constant running and harrassing of defenders could be usefull next season away from home if played behind our main striker.what do you think?:emoticon-0112-wonde

    Real tough one Rocky.
Beaver is a fans favorite because he always gives his all, has great skill and often does well in the air. He has pretty much everything except for the finish.
If he had the finishing skills he would be at least a championship player.
Question is more about what system Waddock wants to play in League 1. I think he will keep Beaver as an option and see how things pan out. Can't help thinking it may really work if he plays off a good front man

i'd keep beavon- sell pittman. Beavon can affect games and stays fit most of the season. Even when he doesn't score he can set up others, and his partnership with Rendell has been good this season.

However, we always say each season if Pittman could stay fit and on form he would be scoring tons of goals for us. Unfortunately he is never fit. He has missed the majority of the last two seasons and is plagued by inconsistency when he does get a few games without injury. I don't want to have another season where Pittman swans up for about 5 matches and plays well, and get everyone saying how fantastic he is.

Tough call Beaver or JP or neither I like them both but have my resivations in league 1 as they didn't shine last season all depends on GW budget as we need another goal scorer Beaver can do a job in midfield or on the wing and JP is two footed and a natrual finisher if given the service so there you go then I'm as much help as Ron :emoticon-0120-doh:

I still think there is more to come from the Beaver. When he came on Saturday, he did a great job harrassing the oposition and held the ball up well, I think with a bit of confidence he could start adding the goals. At least in League 1 he won't have to play against such crammed defences. Pitman is inconsistant and comes on in some games and you don't realise he is on the pitch, admittedly I don't think he gets the right service a lot of the time. Yes when on form he is a top striker, but like swanvester matches you never know when he is going to work!

totally agree rockinchairboy i like both of them but i have been disapointed with jp this season when he has been given a start he hasnt come up with the goods.as for beever i would give him another season ,but if he stays fit and then doesnt produce the goods i would then say its time for him to go,shame really cos his first touch is as good as anyone in the game.

You know me I like beaver! Especially a wet beaver in behind on a cold wet winters night!!

As for young Justin Beaver! He can stay he works hard and as you say rock is a pest and as Bob Hoskins said if could score goals he would be championship class!

Waddock has some tough choices to make over the summer. I would keep Beavon as a squad player for now, but I don't think he is good enough to be starting every game. Think certain other favourites are more likely to leave before the start of next season.

Id keep Beever as a fourth striker with Rendell, Strevens plus one. JPP spends too much time on the treatment table. Get another goalscorer in (Constable, Le Fondre or Richards.)
