QPR have too much to do. They need to win a minimum of 8 or 9 games out of the last 18 games this season and if they had the ability to do that then they wouldn't be bottom of the world right now. They have too many too many high rollers on the books and wont be able to offload them and bring in the 3 or 4 they need. They are down imo.

Reading are fighting but imo, are just not good enough and wont attract the kinds of players to save them. They will fight to the bitter end but again, imo they are down too.

So that's 2 of the 3 for me. Who will be the third? Who are the contenders? In current league order.

Southampton are a funny outfit. They can score goals but leak them as well and they need to address that. If they can stop letting in daft goals, the likes of Lambert will score goals and they have a lot of fight in them. They are in big, big trouble but I think they can scrape out a bit like Wigan.

Villa are in trouble. I've seen too many relegation campaigns not to recognise the signs and conceding 15 goals in 3 games, one of them 0-3 at home to your relegation rivals is **** straights in anyone's books, despite what Lambert is saying. If they don't get some experience in this next month they are definitely firm contenders.

Wigan are also in trouble but they have mounted these kinds of comebacks in the last 3 seasons before and Martinez knows how to scrape 4th bottom.

Mags. On paper they have a team way too good to be relegated but the key factor here is Demba Ba and if he goes who will get them the goals? If he goes and isnt replaced then they may struggle. If he is replaced then I think they will be fine. However, the year they went down they looked okay and got dragged into it and Pardew has relegated teams before. Concern but not worry. Yet. I think they will be okay.

Fulham. Funny team and have hit a very poor run of form lately. They have some cracking players but how good will the likes of Berbatov be in street fight? More worried for them than the Mags. Definite contenders.

Sunderland - very hit and miss all season for us and we do need 2 or 3 new faces this next month to help with the goals, pace and creativity. I have seen enough in the last 7 or 8 games to suggest we, like the mags, will be okay but care must be taken not to get dragged back into the mess. I think we will be okay.

West Ham, Norwich & Swansea. All 3 seem to have done enough to take them out of the firing line but they are all only a 4 or 5 game poor run away from being sucked into the ****e but its very unlikely.

    Liverpool won't be relegated.

So if I was to make a guess, at the minute I'd say Villa will be the 3rd team to go as they just have the feel and look of a troubled club and the Bent stuff just shows a club in some disarray behind the scenes. I like Paul Lambert as a bloke but he hasn't been in this position before as a manager and how he handles this next few weeks of the window will dictate the relegation places.

Agree totally, QPR, Reading and Villa. First 2 are doomed in my book and Villa are in freefall mode and that's a difficult situation to change, OK, we have January but i don't think Villa have money to spend. For me they are favourites for the 3rd slot.

Think QPR and Arry have been left too big a task to stay up they need to win 3 games on the bounce to get out of the bottom 3 that's if the other teams lose all 3.
Reading could also go but, it'll be close for them up or down.
The third spot could be any one from the next 5/6 teams including ourselves and the barcodes, although if Villa don't pull out of this downward spiral they are in it could be them.

Villa Reading and QPR. If we screw up the January window, we will get very close.

hopefully Villa then we can go after Benteke ha

I think its hard to say until the transfer window is closed, I can see QPR doing quite a bit of business and it all depends how the players gel who they go for (wouldn't be surprised if Parker goes there, will never get in ahead of Sandro and Dembele)

personally think it will be 3 from QPR, Villa, Reading and Southampton

    Southampton
    Reading
    Villa

Think the quality of Redknapp will shine through and QPR will be saved.

No idea. I fancy PSG (to sit on the bench lol). I don't mind if he leaves so long as we sign a good enough replacement to compliment Cisse (who I am really hoping will turn it on in the middle)

Could maybe work out for you lot as Cisse is better through the middle and could be the decision that sees him kick on again.
