    (EDITED RATINGS AFTER SEEING MOTD2!!!!)

Thankfully we set off early today to get a bit of lunch in Shepherds Bush before kick off because the trains were a nightmare! And my god it wasnt worth the effort tbh!

    THE GAME

Well where can start with the beginning of the game. They ran rings round us in the first half, none more so than in the first 15 mins when Luis Suarez was already on a hat trick. Clint Hill got turned for the goal but I can forgive him as he gave his all throughout. The second was a farce. Traore was left stranded on the wing with no back up and against 2 players. Suarez rounded him and drove into the box and aimed to cut the ball back - however a mixture of Cesar and I think Hill blocked the ball back to Suarez who found the net again. Things didnt improve and our defence was being torn to pieces amongst a non existent QPR midfield. We were second best.

Then came a familiar sight to qpr fans - they took a short corner with no reaction from the qpr team bar hill who was screaming for someone to go out there - they didnt. Leaving agger to head the cross home. Shambolic to say the least.

We were completely out fought in the first half and half the players didnt seem to be trying to the anger of most of the crowd.

Second half we were better with a change - Derry on for Cisse. To me that speaks volumes about how Cisse played - or rather didnt play. He was non existent in the first half and Derry was brought on to steady the ship - which he did very well. We basically shut up shop in the second half and albeit for a few decent chances we barely threatened. But Liverpool has so much time and space on the ball during the game its no wonder we lost.

    THE RATINGS

CESAR - 6 - ok I cant really blame him for any of the goals - however he made a few un forced errors in the first half and to me he was not controlling his box at all. He gave the air of someone low on confidence and that found its way to the defence imo. Made a decent save in the second half but for me didnt help the defence at all and didnt come out for crosses.

TRAORE - 5 - was often left stranded by swp not doing enough but overall was poor. missed several tackles and was slow to react on a number of occasions.

HILL - 6 - got done for the first goal but gave everything to the cause and did his best to instruct others but had no support or willingness from several players to fight.

NELSEN - 6.5 - same as hill really, but both struggled against a fast liverpool attack.

ONUOHA - 5 - poor imo. was often slow to react like traore and was easily pushed off the ball for such a big bloke. didnt seem up for a fight imo.

M'BIA - 4.5 - had several good opportunities but was caught in possession countless times and failed to put his mark on the game. also fell over far too much and got booked for a obvious dive. only got a 5 due to an improved second half where he got forward a few times. other than that a poor performance.

DIAKITE - 4.5 - got subbed off but imo it should have been mbia. much like mbia though he failed to do much bar a few surges forward and was caught in possession many many times.

SWP - 3.5 - back to his normal self. i am actually furious with his lack of effort tbh. so many times he left traore on his own, failed to track back, poor passing, poor everything. basically threw the towel in really, after me giving him MOM v West Brom.

TAARABT - 6.5 - tried and worked hard all day but with little help. didnt do much of note but got a decent score because of his effort and willingness to close down, especially second half.

MACKIE - 6.5 - MOM - again much like taarabt didnt get much of an opportunity to do anything but worked so hard for the team and was pushed up front from the right wing when cisse was taken off at half time. closed down all day and one of the few who demonstrated that he cares.

CISSE - 4.5 - cant actually say that he made a positive impact at all really. didnt do anything in the first half and was rightly subbed off.

    SUBS:

DERRY - 6.5 - worked hard and put a bit of steel in the middle to shut up shop a bit.

GRANERO -4.5 - saw quite a bit of the ball but nothing much came of it. doesnt seem up for the fight.

FABIO - 4.5 - barely did anything of any note.

    THE FINAL WORD

I am truly fuming with todays performance - imo much like the Southampton game. There was a distinct lack of effort and willingness from many to want the result. Harry in his press conference said they were the better side - and yes they were - because of a lack of effort imo. Too many didnt turn up and bother to fight. No wonder the crowd got on their backs. After the 3rd I jumped out of my seat in the ML block as it was a disgraceful attempt at a performance.

I genuinely am fed up of watching a bunch of mercenaries 'play' in the premier league and cannot see much beyond relegation with these bunch of players. We carry far too many of them and I would only keep a handful of them at best. Time to clear out and start again imo. I am gutted it has come to this but we have truly lost our soul as a club through no fault of the fans or the board. This mess is down to Hughes and his bunch of money grabbing agents and players.

Today was the final straw. HR said in his press conference they were just the better side, end of. Well imo he is covering over the cracks as im sure he is privately angry with that abject display.

    Thanks for the report judo

From what I saw swp was at fault for aggers goal, he had the back post covered until to run off once the ball was played in, bizarre <doh>

I thought that may have been the case but someone else should have been out on the wing preventing the short corner - it happens time and time again. Also twice Suarez was left on his own for two corners. Its madness.

Totally agree with your summary. I really feel for all our fans who pay good money to watch that rubbish week in and week out. It can't be easy. Lets cut our loses and start preparing for next season.

To be honest I thought one of our standout performers was Onouha, he looked solid defensively with little cover.

A few things I must take issue with here mate.
Firstly, Hill was awful. Left for dead for the first and ran away and left Suarez completely unmarked in the run up to the 2nd. A mark of 6.5 is ludicrous imo.
Also, giving M'Bia and Diakite 6 each and Onouha 5 is, to be frank, baffling!! M'Bia and Diakite were terrible. Neither has the nous to play the holding position and they both left huge holes in the midfield with their terrible positioning. Onouha was our best player by a very long country mile. Was never out-paced by Sterling and was defensively very solid.
Cisse got zero service, so how can he be blamed for anything?
Harry also had a mare. His formation switch after they went 2-0 up was baffling. SWP went over to the right and Mackie went up front. This left Downing and Johnson with the freedom of LR down our left.
A very, very bad day all round!

There was so much wrong with our performance I wouldn't know where to start. For those who weren't there, we had 5 or 6 players who, for whatever reason, didnt make an effort. Its clear that we need them out of our club. How that can be done I have no idea but until its done we're going nowhere (except to the Championship.).

As for the positives I cant think of any, other than it was nice to have a couple of pints with fellow R's before the game.

This. The loyal LR faithful have been truly screwed up the arse. They all have my utmost sympathy and respect........................even COLLY!

I must agree with COL re Onouha. He was probably the only one that I thought was half decent today. Not sure he's a natural RB though.

(Thanks for the report Judo <ok>)

Was at the game was only my 3rd game this season and probably my last... Was so disappointed with the team in the first half, such poor play from 'professional' footballers.
Agree with the comments re Cisse no service to the guy, again everyone talks about Adel but again I felt although he is by far our most creative player he wants to do it all on his own.
    Again one touch too many.
I still want to believe we can do it but what I saw today I can c nothing but relegation.
Now I can't make a lot of games ( lucky to get to 3) but I really feel for those who are there week after week to watch some complete rubbish.

After watching the MOTD I am knocking a point off most peoples ratings there - brought back literally how poor and effortless we were. A 6 for Diakite and Mbia is being generous!

Thanks for the report Judo, always a good read.
Havent seen the game yet so I'll be looking out for the points most have commented on.
Most seem to think Onuha was MOM so its intresting to see your view.
Just goes to show that whether you go to the game or not, no-one sees the same game as the rest. Sorry that wasnt meant at a dig to anyone.

Finally..massive respect to those who do go and support our team through this utter sh**e we are being served. Our supporters deserve better than this after our past 15 years !

Not even gonna bother with "keep the faith" ....!

Im a bit perplexed at others views of Onouha - I thought he was pony all day long.

Even sterling managed to push him off the ball and he was barely awake all day. I guess others saw it differently but for me he was as useless as traore.

Now you see.....here's that "look at a tree from a different angle and you'll see a different tree" thing.
I can't believe you thought Onouha was that bad. He was quick, strong and won a brilliant header against Gerrard to prevent a fourth goal. Was never out-paced and was far and away our best player imo.
    Just shows you eh?

I dont think anyone deserves MOTM. As for Onuha, I think I must have been watching a different game. I thought he was just as poor as Traore. Weak and too easily pushed off the ball. Even little Sterling out muscled him. A 5 for his performance is about right.

I would have put Mbia and Diakite on 4.5 just ahead of SWP on a woefull 4.
