Simple question - has he increased his value?

 

Simple answer. Yes.

Then again, I always valued the lad very highly anyway.

 

No still not worth 8 million for me but then why would we sell him (mores the pitty).

A striker that nets 8 goals in 19 games (he hasn't played in every game either) is valued at the price we paid.

He will imo score between 15 and 20 and will be valued at £15m by May.

 

I thought we had overpaid but no. The boy has done what he gets paid to do and did it well. The cost of relegation is a lot more and without his goals we could have been down there.

 

we overpaid for him but if we mange to get the crosses in with decent back up for him and he keeps scoring then he is worth it

 

About 10mil at the minute lads got to admit I was wrong about him however still don't think we'll see 15/20 goals out of him.

 

He's on 8 and the team is improving.

I think 15 is around where he'll be, and that's decent enough.

i dont think 20 goals is out of the question for him but it will maybe a few less, hope im wrong and its more.

 

Hope I'm in the window come the end of the season mate but, with the supply to him and the fact he is on his own for most games I just can't see it. Not his fault I know and, to be honest I have been surprised at how many he has now and how well he has done in a struggling team for the most part.

He's worth what we paid for him, his problem is the service to him, give the kid service and he has already proven he can score, no doubt at all. If he breaks 15+ by the end of the season and i think he will, maybe add a few million on.

In a top 4 team right now he'd be a 20+ a season striker for sure and you'd be looking at silly money to buy him.

 

Agreed mate but, there aren't many top 4 teams who would have/need him. If we can sort the service and support to him out then we could see him score a hatful but, without that service and support he is shackled. He has done well so far (I'l hold my hands up there) however I still think as do many on here he would do better with a second striker alongside him.
