When Harry sent Granero on with clear instructions to take the free kick, Taarabt started acting the brat again and Derry had to step in and make him move aside. And what did a large bunch of fans do? They started booing!

Now I know Granero is pretty sh*te but considering that up to this point Taarabt couldn't take a corner or a free kick right, surely Granero was worth a try at that particular time?

The crowds reaction made me wonder what the hell is wrong with them? What a silly bunch some of them are.

The fans pay their money every week and have seen us win one game, they are fully entitled to show their frustration as they see it.
We have a great set of fans in my opinion

If they were that frustrated Ellers, wouldn't they have welcomed the fact that a new player was going to have an effort? They should have kept their booing for the final whistle.

I don't want to have a go at our fans that go to these games week in week out because they are top notch. However, this reaction did perplex me.

You're missing the point mate. I'm not saying they shouldn't boo, I'm saying they shouldn't blindly support Taarabt who yet again was f*cking useless.

I can see both views here.
Some fans boo because they are just frustrated and want to show the manager/board/team that they are not happy.
However today i thought Adel should have taken both free kicks. Granero attempt was s###e and then M'bia? I won't say what that was. Fact is Adel should have taken the kicks.

Yet was Granero, Mbia any better? I don't think so.

You have GOT to be joking right? You have GOT to be joking!!!! :steam:

He was utterly awful. Couldn't take a corner, couldn't take a free, kept losing the ball, his shots on goal were woeful, his passing was sub-standard................. the list is endless.

Can I ask you Scotty, did you actually watch the same game as me today??

It really started once the first free kick was botched, if it had been a screamer he'd have been the hero but he was pants as well. I think we were just doing damage-limitation in the 2nd half...
