It seems only yesterday we were looking forward to the start of the seasonand now we enter the business end.Safe to say that we have had are ups and downsbut it looks more and more that we will get rid of our cretin.
Looking at the teams now the top of the pile in what can only be described as a very ordinary league with no team really standing out so its all to play for next year.
Cardiff had fantastic results at home but have lost 5 away can,t see them keeping up at home so top 6 and playoffs for me really lucky on Saturday this luck will not hold out so another season of playoffs
Hull Bruce seems to be able to get good loanees from Alex so I can see them certainly vying for a top 2 finish
Crystal Palace if the hold onto Murray and Zaha could prove a threat unfortunately money talks so likely to falter sorry Holly
Boro got the makings of a good squad so no problem getting into playoffsbut top 2 doubt it
Leicester great squad not sure about the managerbut theey have a real prospect with Kockaert so I expect them to finish in the top2.
Watford real sourprise package and barring injuries may finish in the top6
Millwall if we buy Chris woods and Chris Taylor that will end their run so sorry no top 6 for the wall
Leeds just depends on the quality we buy in January buit withh recent results and top 2 place is not out of reach consistency is the target
Brighton good manager needs a little tweaking but top 6 is very possible.
of the rest Wolves are coming on strong so I expect them to be in the top6
Blackpool and Blackburn have blown it Town wil ldo what Larrys team always do in this half blow it Bolton have been very dissapointing for the sizeof their squad
Sheffield Wednesday Peterboro Barnsley Bristol will make up who gets relegated with possibly Barnsley surviving
So this will give everyone something to discuss over a pint
Merry Christmas and a happy prosperous healthy New Year to all fans!

I lke to think our season only began six games back with the takeover. Since then 15 points from 18 has been fantastic and an indication of what might have been had bates sold up in summer. If we get four points this week and the promised support in January, I think we'll be thereabouts

I think it also helps that our squad spent time gelling though

My hopes for the four points were pie in the sky. Didn't give forest or hill a game. Looks like yet another season ended before January unless some very serious transfer activity. I don't mean the Ryan hall type of stuff either. Any idea how many of our crocks or cretins are near end of contracts. Serious contract terminations or scrap sale needed shortly

We'd do a lot better if Colin wasn't a thick **** and would actually play to our strengths, which means playing Jerome Thomas and Ryan Hall.

    Along with Becchio and EHD!

In terms of where we are, if we were to beat Bolton on New Years Day and that gets us within 3 points off the play offs, it's not that bad a position to be in when you think we have a break from the league at the weekend with the FA cup.

Plus I think Warnock wants to act pretty quickly to bring players in anyway for the play off push. Look on the bright side, if we've somehow managed to be ninth so far it should only get better from here.

I know yesterday was a disgrace and it seems to me that he actually sacrificed yesterday's game so he gets a result against Bolton, but we have to stick with him and see what he actually does now he's being backed.

He stuck with it during the long drawn out process of this epic takeover. If we don't go up then we dont have to renew his contract anyway.

So you're assuming the teams above us wont win when we do on New Years Day. The table I'm looking at has us five points of the play offs at present. By all accounts, yesterday wasnt the only disgrace recently. How many times since the takeover have we been the best team? Not many. Your'e right though, might as well let him finish the season. Clear out the tons of deadwood during the summer. I just hope gfh have deep pockets for the rebuilding required in the summer

Diouf was knackered. Don't know how many times I have to say that. But McCormack and Somma would play a lot better with proper wingers as well. Skilled players who create space and allow them to cause problems. It's not all about swinging balls into the box and hoping Becchio gets his head on it.
