Express reckon a two and a half year contract... http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view...s-lighting-way-to-world-of-offersFrank-s-uncl
Still a good player and would be an addition to the team..even if he is chelsea.....remember ...all other ex chelsea players who starred for us
At the end of the day, I don't care where he's been or whatever ............... if he is prepared to have a 'dig' for us and or keep us up ........... then I welcome his addition to the team.
Hes over the hill and the only reason hed come to us is that he wouldnt have to move, just like Johnson, Zamora and Boswinga who were hardly successes.
Something tells me he has some backbone ............... which the others seem to be lacking. He has achieve much over the years ( 500+ games ) ... and you only do that by having a 'dig' for your team. Anyway, these are only my thoughts.
I like Frank...Comes over as a nice bloke and does not seem at all seem big headed or too big an ego... Don't care that he plays for chelsea but why would he want to come here....If Harry can get him...great..
Fantastic player, real Pro, guaranteed a few goals, hope he is made skipper. Much needed drive and energy. If he comes will be our most influential signing for many a year. Will do it for his uncle, can't wait. He can teach Faurlin and co how to shoot as well. We will soon be singing "There's only one Frankie Lampard".
Yeah we really need another aging midfielder on a pay day with no real desire as he didn't want to leave Chelsea And you'll actually sing 'there's only one frank lampard'?? Talk about selling out cheaply
get it right, Frankie not Frank, it doesn't flow. Change the record as well. I f he was after a payday there are plenty who would pay more than us.
But not in London so he doesn't have to even move house. Why would he sign for a club rooted to the bottom for anything other than money & convenience? It'll hardly be for footballing reasons and that's exactly what we don't need. Chelsea semi retirement home I'd rather sign a promising youngster than lampard
