Leeds fans are apparently "going up" according to their chant. Didn't know you could get promoted for finishing 12th.

    My favourite quote:

"Whatever we do, we're not going to cope with Hull and Cardiff, but looking at the other teams, we don't have much to fear. We need to get our own house in order.

I didn't know the season ended before the new year, nor that teams in the mid-table who have a chance of strengthening in January traditionally are in a good position to mount a push for the playoffs when they pick up momentum nearer to the end of the season.

Well no chance you strengthen in January so why were you chanting that you were going up?

    1. Why is there no chance of us strengthening?
    2. Because Hull were singing something poorly-constructed about El-Mo-Hamedy, -Hamedy, El-Mo-Hamedy to the same tune, so we used our one song which fitted as a sort of retort.
    3. Because at some point in the nearly infinite future, we will go up, so the song is not inaccurate.

Something poorly-constructed? I'm pretty sure it fits the tune perfectly well considering Elmohamady isn't the easiest of names to add into a chant.

You really do take pride in making yourself look a complete moron don't you?

OK, averagely-constructed, not that it affects what I'm saying. :emoticon-0114-dull:

And yes, I've been labelled a moron before and wear it as a badge of pride. :D 'Rather be a moron than a ****'.

Is that how bad this result has made you feel? You are beginning to attempt to take some sly digs at our chants? <laugh>

Leeds didn't have any really. You sung Mincing On Together a couple of times, "Leeds are going up" (<laugh>) a couple of times, and I think that's about it. <ok>

    Jan 3rd
    Dom Matteo
    Shoot the Chelsea scum
You mean **** all to us
    You've never won **** all
    Town full of smackheads
    Town full of Leeds fans
    Ironic ole-ing
    **** 'em all
    We all ****ing love Leeds

All sung. Not very loudly, granted, but I don't think your away support is up to much in similar circumstances.

    Main point in that post.

If we mean **** all to you, why would you sing that? <whistle>

This is where it gets funny because, we haven't won anything besides Runner Up Trophy's and a Play off Trophy etc etc, but we never claim to have so is this chant supposed to be reassurance or an insult because, either way, it's pointless. <ok>

Town full of Leeds fans is funny too, because I'm pretty sure the majority of people in that Stadium supported Hull... <doh>

To wind you up, so you will hate us even more, because we love being hated by everyone? Fair enough, we were quiet and our support has been sub-par away from home this season in voice, but not in numbers, and it's absolutely disgraceful the amount of early kickoffs we've been burdened with. I actually think it's set some kind of world record for police intervention in fixture scheduling, no joke.

It's to put Hull in your place. You're the better club at the moment, but we're still the bigger club. It is ultimately pointless, but so is everything that grown men sing in unison at sports games.

What bearing does that have on the number of Leeds supporters in your city? We sold out our end, can't ask for more than that. TBF there were a lot of East Yorkshire accents in our section too, so it's not like the 'armchair Hull Whites' all stayed at home.

Go to bed mate. After today's showing, your club's self-appointed status as the best supporters ever to grace the stadia of this country is well and truly gone. Any attempt to compare yourselves to our away support now would be as pointless as attempting to argue that your team play better football than us.

I'm already in bed, and have never claimed us to have the best fans in the country, so you can kiss my black arse.

I factored in your January transfer window when mentioning your 12th placed finish. I did use the word finished. Honest I did.

Why would a time of day affect how loud you were? I've been to many an early/late kick off away from home and the atmosphere's been great, if not better....

To put us in our place?<laugh>

Oh dear <doh> At least you realise it's another chant for half-wits like your rabble <ok>

There's gonna be fans of different sides in every City, even in other Country's. The lads at work who support Leeds but live in Hull have actually moved here from Leeds. Really, unless they're dicks, if someone was born in Hull, they support Hull. The Leeds fans you see, are more often that not, actually from Leeds. Take away those who've moved here, and just count the Hull population and who they support, Hull is nowhere near a "Town full of Leeds fans". That's just something you lot believe to boost your ego's <ok>

Try to follow. I know you support leeds and it must be tough.

Because we all watched the game today, you are ****. So,,,

    A. strengthening to the point where you can go up in your situation would require about 5 new players. At least.

    B. Your owners have already said they will not be going spending crazy.

    C. Since you wont be going spending crazy you will not be able to buy 4 to 5 players of the quality to go up.

    D. Your coach is an idiot. That is the consensus on YOUR forum.

    E. If your coach is an idiot, and you need 4 to 5 players and you arnt going to be spending crazy money. Then,,,

Conclusion. There is 0 chance of you strengthening. IE strengthening to the point where you can go up.

    Preview for next season.

If you spend well then you have a chance. This season, no.

Colin said he was only looking at adding one or two signings. Of course being Champions of Europe and everything, and being a good side when we all used cars like the Flinstones means that they're going to attract some big-time Premier League player(s) that will single-handedly fire them into the Premier League and then into the Champions League a couple of Seasons after. <ok>
