With the transfer window almost upon us, I am going to update the front page.

Mainly with the ones who we think are nailed on, or somehow a possibilty. <ok>

On your outgoings, Wilson is already out on loan.

Joined Bristol City last month for two months and will return at some point in late January. Could also see Flanagan go out on loan at least as he isn't getting any match time at all at the moment.

Hasn't been linked with anyone but I think he could move in January.

Ya wasn't sure on Wilson, Flanno could be useful for someone out there in the championship probably. Did I miss anyone else on the outgoings? I feel like I have, think Coates needs to go to a Spanish side and get some time as he just isn't getting it here.

I feel sorry for Coates, every time he's played he's impressed me but he just can't get on the bench! It's bizarre .. I'd rather have him on the bench than Carragher tbh

Here is my worry with Coates...... do you remember Gabriel Paletta? He was a monster for Boca and one of the top up and coming defenders in the world. But he was too big and slow and did not adapt to the prem at all. I worry that might happen to Coates but he needs to be playing a lot more somewhere to get his confidence and skills back up. He has the potential he was a beast in the copa america, just needs to learn how to adjust to the cut and thrust of the prem.

  10. Just been Fifa (finally) and I bought Paletta. I was going to come on here and compare him to Coates just like you've just done!

Anyone heard anything of our owners?

They've gone very quiet in recent months.

It would be nice to know what they're thinking.

It's looking more obvious during the present credit crunch that FSG can't afford to keep LFC and the Sox together as part of their group, they will eventually have to sell one of the two.
I'd say we're are their best option to keep and concentrate their money on because our brand globally puts the Red Sox in the shade.

Btw bow the last thing i saw in answer to your question was this piece earlier this month.

A lot of the comments on that page are a little worrying.

Question then for you PMK, it has been rough the last few years, I know we want to do things the Liverpool way, spend what we earn, bring up our own youth, etc....... but what if an oil conglomerate came through or a russian billionare? Can't say I would say no!!!! If Man City can become as big as they have then what would we do if we had a sugar daddy???

Just caught your post before i logged off Bluff.

Sugar daddies and billionaires seem to be the future of the game(unfortunately), if FSG do sell our club we would surely have to hope the buyers were richer than John Henry and friends because so far they they haven't spent many of their own millions on LFC.

    Anyway, night mate.<ok>
