It's that simple. We shoulda gone in 3 nil up. The cross Koren bottled out on in the first half..... Ffs a proper centre forward woulda taken the ball and the fat **** kenny into the goal with him.

Don't care who it is just sign one Brucey.

Same thing as the other week on this one, glad our lads arent crippling themselves for the sake of the odd goal like Stockdale fannying that challenge the other week, we are playing pretty smart. We are getting a striker most likely and whos to say if we had a traditional centre forward up front we might not be so far up the league, playing like we are is working.

There can't be too many calls for a striker - if we had scored 50% of our chances we would be very sweet indeed. We must not make the same mistake as last year when we should have sold Fryatt and Stewart.

What a load of bollocks. The chances we are creating needs someone of purpose going in, both Koren and aluko are midfielders, it's not in their instincts. FC would have 6 goals from the last 3 games at least, the chances are on a gold plate for a proper forward.

I'd love to have seen how many goals fryatt would have got in this team , regarding getting a new forward is a must, but some have a good point he has to fit in and not only score goals but his all round play has got to fall in place with this fast passing style of football we play. Competition for good forwards will be fierce, it looks like Leicester have got Wood so that's one good forward gone and there won't be that many available

Brum will have to sell Zigic but he's apparently on £50k a week so no chance there.

Chaz's comments about "don't care which one it is" re a striker are silly. it DOES matter, as he has to be a striker which can add sth.

Prozzy needs to start vs Blackpool

Here we go again! Yes, Fryatt would have scored a ****ing hatful if he played as he did last year - in his very shortlived purple-patch. For the rest of the season (up to the window and beyond) he missed just as many chances as we are missing now - did you not watch the games or read the boards, where most where screaming for a forward? I don't care how bonny your general play is, but if your strikers ain't scoring then you are going nowhere.

What a tired old thread. Same old same old. We have gone over this subject to death.

Steve Bruce confirmed to one and all post match that all is in order for Jan. He knows what he is doing. Just relax and remain calm, all is under control.

Sorry we bore you! You know ****-all of what is in order for Jan, just the same as the rest of us. SB has publicly stated he will only buy if the right ones are available; so if they aren't we are left with players who fluff their numerous chances and a thin squad at that. Scoring goals to win games is a problem for us and any Tigers supporter who treats that with disdain is a muppet.

Tickler it's understandable that people don't share your faith in everything sorting itself out in January. We've been disappointed every January since the window existed.

I agree we've been let down in the past, but i dont think we've had a manager with Steve Bruce's awareness and astuteness in the transfer market before.
