    I've just been looking at Liverpool's squad. Is there anyone in there who you would take and replace any of our first team players with? Apart from the obvious ones like Reina, Kuyt and Suarez of course.

    Meireles , Kelly and Skrtel.

    Although I hate to admit it , but they are playing some lovely stuff now. Leading 2-0 after 6 minutes...

    I can't think of a single current Liverpool player worthy of wearing the Newcastle shirt, especially not the most prestigious one of them all...

    If it was purely for the player on the pitch, I would take Reina, Carragher, Kuyt, Suarez, Carroll and probably Johnson
    In reality I would only really take the obvious ones you mentioned

    Can't say I rate Meireles much, he went through good form but didn't start well and has dropped off since his purple patch.
    Kelly looked good when I watched him play so wouldn't mind him.

    What about that Handy Carrell?

    By the way, I'm referring to taking players to directly replace players in our first team. Looking at the quality, who would you boot out and which player from Liverpool would you replace him with?

    I'm struggling to pick anyone out, which is why I'm confused as to why they're doing so much better than us. I guess it might be mostly down to the strikers yet again.

    Shame that we didn't get Kuyt when it was between us and Liverpool for him. Although he'd have probably been gone in the relegation clear out.

    I'd probably take Suarez to replace Lover or someone. Hate the little twat but he's got skill, can't deny that..
