These always give me an uneasy feeling, a bit like indigestion from a left over turkey sandwich - We have a manager with great, if as yet unfulfilled true potential, lets face it, it was Nigel's obvious potential that convinced Top to bring him back to push us on to achieve our target. Now when Nigel left us to take what I considered was a backwards step to join Hull I was gob smacked, when I first heard the rumour I instantly thought what a load of bollocks because it was so stupid it was incomprehensible and we all know what happened there. Now to today, on the back of a series of disappointing results for us, two backward step vacancies suddenly pop up - Now I know there were relationship issues hampering Nigel's position under Manderic, but Nigel has since said the reason he took the Hull job was because he was given permission to talk to them in the first place - Who knows if one of these clubs won't take a cheeky punt on grabbing a successful manager and catching Top feeling less confident in Nigel because of recent results. I don't expect it to happen, but in addition to starting a debate, someone can convince me my overactive imagination is playing tricks on me
I'm not paranoid - it's those voices telling me I am! Can't see anybody currently employed leaving to go and work at either Forest or Blackburn - both poisoned chalices.
especially not if he signs wood here. Also, i cant see any team approaching here, no a single club from us in this league is a forward step really (and no, im not saying we are the biggest club)
Ok Danger. Forest are after a premiership manager and are (apparently) interviewing today.NP has said when he came back to us that he has unfinished business here. It is still unfinshed. Blackburn are more likely to approach Colonel Sanders for the job, so they have a retail outlet for their main business. Only someone who is desperate to get back into football, or someone who loves Blackburn would consider a contract where you can be sacked after just 10 games. Personally think they will approach that dirty crying bastard that is Shearer. NP aint going anywhere
Ive heard blackburn want to get a bloke in quick so they can start his sacking process straight away...easter is just around the corner..,
Jewell, Solskjaer, Hughes, McLeish, Di Matteo, Curbishley - One of these will get one of the jobs. Which means that none of them will. I'm quite confident Pearson won't leave us for any of these clubs
McLeish is prob the best that Forest could have hoped for from that list, don't think he will bring any ex players from the prem to Forest though.
He'd do very well for you and would probably keep you up and look to make you a top half side next season. Really rate him as a manager when given the time and space to do his things.
Stale Solbakken Paul Lambert Roberto Mancini Dave Jones Are all on thin ice i think Wolves have been crap Man City failed in europe spectacularly again and are 4 points off Man U Villa keep getting smashed And Wednesday are struggling and we know too well Milan isnt a patient man
How Solbakken still has a job is beyond me! better managers at higher clubs have been booted this week.
