Thought he had really good game today. OK he missed a sitter but had great work rate and completed more passes than anyone else. Worth his place in the squad.
wind your neck in mate, I'm so sick of everything being Guly's fault, why don't you just give.... oh. Carry on.
Certainly played well. Not sure I can remember a player as snake-bitten in front of goal as he, though; needs one to regain his self-belief rather badly.
I don't rate Guly, but even I can see he played well bar the sitter. Some one should blog this post it's that rare I praise him.

Not going to comment on his performance until I have seen the match later, but genuinely pleased for him that he has played 90mins and not been ripped apart by our own fans! Good lad!
I wouldn't quite call it a sitter. It was a chance that probably should have been scored, but it did come at him quickly on his left foot. Good performance overall for sure, and an assist he deserved.
Don't forget Rickie could have had a second when JRod went to the byline but pulled it back just out of Rickie's reach. That was almost a better chance to finish it than Guly's.
Played a large part in our good performance but may have ultimatley cost us 2 points. That will seem unfair but it was a moment where I thought you could see the momentum change and they scored seconds later. Hopefully he keeps up the good performance and adds more competition to to the team.
Guly was excellent in the first half, as were Rodriguez, Lambert and Puncheon. It is just unfortunate that the chance that was missed at 3-1 was his because he had his best game for ages and desrves praise for his part in the final result.
While we're at it, Hooiveld and Yoshida have both taken some abuse recently but I thought both of them had solid games as well. Yoshida particularly for being played out of position.
Showed a lot of class and hopefully means he can take confidence and put in performances like that down the stretch, whether as an impact sub or starting. Definitely wasn't a sitter he missed but he undoubtedly should have done better. Also shouldn't go unnoticed that him not coming out to cover the extra man for the throw-in probably caused their first goal, not looking to crucify the guy but considering some of the flak Ramirez, Lallana etc. have gotten for defensive lapses in the past that shouldn't go unremarked upon I feel.
You can see why hes slated, missing chances like that.... and not hard to get a good pass percentage if you pass backwards! Liverpool have high pass percentages but still are below Stoke in the league..
The passing backwards thing would make sense if he wasn't probably our most direct and attacking player for most of the game. And for the rest of the game passing backwards and keeping possession is exactly what we needed... Hard to criticise him for that, surely?
Now, I'm not Guly's biggest fan (I don't boo him either) but I thought he was outstanding today from what I heard on the radio Doesn't deserve to be dropped for the next game certainly
