    1) Brady. Edges it from;
    2) Meyler. Marginally ahead of;
    3) Quinn, who was a knat's cok hair ahead of;
    Hobbs, Faye, Chester, Evans, Elmo & Aluko.
    Mentions for Jakupovic who looked solid and confident at times, but Golachi-esque on others, as well as Koren, who was poor by his own standards but in such an advanced role proved (as if we didn't know) he is not a striker.
    Incidentally, I was told that BBC stats showed City at 65% possession with 20 odd attempts at goal against Leeds' 1. Says it all really! Also laughable that as the team turned to applaud the away fans at the end, they were booed as one. By the few who stayed anyway. As poor a Leeds team as I have ever seen in my lifetime (mid-50's now) and easy to see that as early as 60 minutes, they had given up. I suspect it will be a different 11 before 31 January! Maybe even a new Manager? Has he had the Manager's kiss of death yet?

    I have delayed doing this, as i actually have no idea who i was going to vote for so i apologize if no-one agrees.

    Quinn
    Chester
    Meyler

    I admit i did not like Meyler at first but he gives us something that we have not had for a while. He wins headers, gives us that presence, and he gets in the box when no-one else does. However Quinn really is brilliant, his movement, his rotation of possession everything is first class, his link up with Brady is great to watch. Chester is just Chester, and i think we forget how good he is at times.

    The one thing which I think Quinn lacks is the killer instinct to pick the right pass or shot when in or around the box. It's not that his passing isn't good enough but he often seems to choose the wrong option or not notice someone in space. It's not just him, that's our problem all round in terms of turning dominance into goals but apart from that he does everything right.

    We can all say plenty about Quinn, good and not-so perhaps, but I personally have never seen a player with such a strong 'engine' game-in game-out. His recovery and energy levels seem almost inhuman by comparison to other mere mortals. Having said that he was blowing the biggest tug of his Hull City career at the end today!

    Too much choice

    Quinn
    Chester
    Aluko

    Special mention for the Jak - I can't say how pleased I am from what I've seen and how worried I was when Stokdale was recalled. Another steady performance and good distribution. The defence looks confident also with him in goal - I hope he continues to do well for us.

    Hmmm... this is a difficult choice, but for me.
    1. Quinn - was simply outstanding.
    2. Brady - Simply terrific, PLEASE sign him permanently
    3. Meyler - A complete difference maker in midfield. Should have had a pen in the first 10 minutes, and his goal was one terrific header.

    you weren't concerned when he did his Golachi-esque fumble in the second half then?

    No not really - PG always looked just like he'd filled his pants when ever he had to catch the ball - i'll let the Jak off that one cos he makes me feel confident.

    Still concerned about Mayler being too slow and going down or giving up too easy - all that said though he's scoring goals and I can see there is a player in there and that he is having a positive effect on our midfield. Hope he stays with us and improves under Bruce.

    All 11 could be in the top 3, such was our utter utter domination, but for the sake of the 1-2-3

    1 - Faye, a rock at the back, imperious at times, nothing got past him, he was fantastic.

    2 - Meyler, great on the ball and a constant threat going forwards

    3 - Aluko, should have passed a few times when he chose to shoot but Leeds just could not cope with his movement or ability on the ball.

    Feels scandalous to not also mention how well Brady, Elmo, Jakupovic, Evans and Quinn played in that top 3. What a performance, for 90 mins Leeds, the bizarre darlings of the ******ed and blinded media, were played off the park, really could have been 5 or 6 today.
