Gutted. We've thrown away leads far too much this season. I don't care if it's Stoke and a point is great, we were winning by two clear goals. Absolute ****.
Adkins had the first half spot on, the second half was pathetic and spineless, you cant go all out defence for 45 minutes you will concede especially when the bombardment is stoke. So adkins you deserve credit for the first half, but you are an idiot for the second half
To be ahead against a ten man team and then to enable them to boss the game is criminal. I said before the start I would be happy with a point but I am gutted. We are back in the bottom three.
We've got ourselves to blame and our tactics for throwing this away. Why did we keep giving them the ball back? Why couldn't we back ourselves to keep the ball against 10 men?
That's a pretty massive overreaction; we were playing on the counter for the first portion of the second half, and had two or three very good chances to put this one to bed, not taken.
The mentality of looking back as to how you would have reacted to a point before the game, after throwing away a two goal lead, is exactly the sort that'll get us relegated.
