Celtic manager Neil Lennon: "I think Pat's made huge strides in turning things around at Hibs. "The progression they've made under Pat this season has been tremendous and they've been, more or less, there or thereabouts in the top three or four all season. "He's turned around the character of the squad, I think he's recruited well and in [Leigh] Griffiths they have a player who has been very consistent this season. "Easter Road's a great fixture and I think the players are very much looking forward to going there and playing but it won't be easy. "We want to maintain this winning run going into the break and, if we can do that, it's up to the rest to stay in touch." Charlie Mulgrew and James Forrest have been ruled out with rib and hamstring problems, respectively. Kris Commons (thigh), Joe Ledley, Adam Matthews and Anthony Stokes remain on the sidelines. Hibs 1 - Celtic 2 Teams to follow...
Forster; Wilson, Rogne, Ambrose; Lustig, Brown, Wanyama, Izaguirre; Hooper; Lassad, Samaras Subs: Zaluska, McCourt, McGeouch, Watt, Chalmers, Kayal, Kidd
i would change things. move ambrose into midfield alongside wnayama and brown then lassad and sammi behind hooper edit. he has switched ambrose to right back. not sure lustig can play right mid
Should be 3-0 down with Doyle missing two sitters. Look very weak in defence, Rogne in particular, and attack characterized by misplaced passing and poor crossing. Need to step things up big time.
Hopeless performance. Hibs deserved to win, and possibly by more than one. 2012 finishes with an almighty damp squib.
Well done Hibs, woeful display from Celtic today. Games like this show we could still to with a target man up front.
