I was near Carrickfergus once a couple of years ago at a funeral in a wee village called Whiteabbey. The Church was a great big one on the shore of a lake. The hotel we were in after was just on the outskirts of Carrickfergus. It was a golf club too. I would have gone down to have a look at the town but I didn't have time. Looks like a grand spot.
