    Besides, I thought the whole idea behind his 'wum' thread was to try and fish for attention, but I guess it's a bit uncomfortable when the wum backfires and he ends up looking silly instead.

    Anyway, I won't poke him again, but I can't promise not to correct him if he comes back with any more bizarre claims <ok>

    BBF, thank you for posting that table and for helping to prove my point re the North London powershift.

    Look very carefully at that table and you will notice a very important thing. Yes, that's right, BBF, for several seasons, and increasingly so over the last three seasons, we have finished just behind Arsenal. We are, of course, ahead of them this season, and have been for a significant amount of the time.

    Please note that I have not yet declared that the power has shifted, because clearly it has not. Therefore, do not whip yourself up into a wum-fest on account of that error (as PESKIE does). I am merely saying that the power is shifting, which clearly is has been for some time.

    By the way, I didn't come up with the powershift theory, that honour goes to a Gooner.

    I could have put Liverpool Chelsea and Man U on that list but why, this is about Arsenal Spurs.

    I guess when you dispel the delusional cloud with some fundamental facts, like finishing league positions for the 10 previous seasons then to laugh because you're ahead of them right now..

    That's like the guy you quietly beat at Fifa 500 times in a row until he wins one game and goes nuts and gets all up in your grill <laugh> Or more accuratly Goddle is a Hod

    Care to do a similar comparison between your own side and your supposed rivals Man Utd, BBF? No? Didn't think so.
    Note that the gap between you has got progressively larger, whereas the opposite is true of us and Arsenal.
    21 points between you already this season, isn't it?

    At their present rate of progress (25 points at halfway), we'll need 2 more points to finish above them in May. A damning indictment before the year has ended.

    At least Arsenal v Spurs will be a contest 'til the end of the seson.
