Wow, wasn't expecting that one! Why though was Badley Wiggins taken one step further and made a knight. Everything Bradley has acheived has been equaled by Andy in the tennis world. I always though older gentlemen were made knights for a lifetime of acheivement - wouldn't an OBE have been a more suitable honour to have been given to both Andy and Bradley?

I don't agree with this. Wiggins has four Olympic gold medals and seven medals in total, and I'd say Wimbledon is the tennis equivalent of the Tour de France.

    Wiggins was already a CBE.

Don't worry, Andy will get more honours next year when he wins the Australian Open, US Open and Wimbledon and becomes the new world number 1. <cheers>
