Successful water-boiling recepticle Pot was yesterday quoted in several media outlets as having labelled a rival liquid-heating container, Kettle, as being black. This followed a call from Kettle to the Liquid-heating Association to punish Pot for his overboiling. Pot calls Kettle 'Black' Said Pot "Its not on. Kettle pretends to be all silvery and clean, when in reality he's so soot covered, he's clearly black." As Pot continued to vent his frustrations, foam was seen to spill from his rim and steam was rising from under his lid. Many fellow containers have noted that Pot hasn't been exactly squeeky clean either. A noted Spanish Pan, now residing in a Northern Pie-eating town, commented that Pot has had a tendency to boil over and froth when he doesn't get his way. However, the powers-that-be have consistently taken a lenient line with Pot, which many have found to be inconsistent with treatment of other containers with less media sway...
Pot is such a hypocrite. When the Uruguyan saucepan called the French fondue set black Pot got all hot under the lid but it's fine for him to "blacken" Kettles name We all know Pot has friends in high places and even has his smaller milk pan brother Graham "Poll" Pot running things from inside the Liquid Heating Association.
quite why they're about to explode i don't know, it was a comment about that small club in the north east, not the insignificant club playing in red in merseyside.
