Evening all, Just wanted to touch base as my new adventure begins. Said goodbye to mrs and kids yesterday an have touched down in Malaysian-Borneo to start my two year working adventure. Apart from the obvious, really gonna miss walking down from Shepherds Bush, down Bloemfontein Road to the mighty Loftus Road. Even though our status as a premier league team is on the rocks, come May, whatever happens, I will still be rocking the blue and white hoop shirt all the way. Will be trying my best to catch as many games as I can online. All the best for the rest of the season lads (and lasses), and if anyone is visiting Kuching or lives in Malaysia then drop me a line. Good luck out there with whatever you are doing Newbury, I did a bit of brief travelling round the Malaysian half of Borneo at the beginning of November. It's an amazing country and the people are so nice. There are Rangers shirts for sale everywhere and I travelled 3 hours in to the jungle and saw a young local lad wearing a pair of Rangers shorts! Couldn't believe it!
Lucky man . Was in Kuching last year and was very impressed by the beauty and cleanliness of the place , the beaches are spectacular and easy to get to on weekends and the sea like bathwater . Also great food and very friendly people - enjoy .
