Not sure why, but I feel optimistic for tomorrow. Steady as she goes at the moment, we're not getting hammered aymore (well not conceding loads) and there seems to be a calmness about the side. Shame Lallana's still out, but Ramirez has to have a match winning performance soon, and almost did it at Fulham with that run and shot. COYR.
I feel slightly more optimistic than I probably should considering Stoke's home form and our away form, but that's still not particularly optimistic haha.
Probably because, like with the Fulham game, it seems like we could probably get more of the ball. Unfortunately their defense and attack are pretty great.

How can saying that we can only beat Stoke by playing good football be an insult? Would they rather he had said we can beat Stoke playing average football....crazy.
Stoke have to be my least favourite team in the league. With their Neanderthal fans and idiot of a manager, it's a shame they are so effective.
Got my ticket, can't wait (first away game of the season). Although I have a feeling it could be a long journey back! That said you never know... Exactly- could they have a chip on their shoulder about their style of play? Having to watch unattractive football every week might do that.
Has anyone played the game where you make a guess at when Stoke make their first hoof? I think it was about 10 seconds vs Liverpool!
What that's meant to mean? You mean that wont get the team anywhere? Quite right nothing at all we say on here will ever have any impact whatsoever on the team. Negativity in the stands may have a slight impact but our travelling fans are usually pretty good. If you mean that if there's negativity in the team that wouldn't get them anywhere then your quite right but again this isn't a representation of the team! It always winds me up when people post on here saying what posts will and won't help, nothing on here has any impact anyway!! Of course posts have an impact on other posters but thats a different matter.
