    I've just received an important message from work which states that there are a number of emails doing the rounds with the titles 'Bin Laden hanged' and 'Bin Laden killed' which will wreck your computer the minute they are opened. There is also another one which simply says 'Invitation' which will have similar results.
    Just be on your guard lads and lasses and pass this message on to family and friends.

    I know that I'm not the most popular bloke on this board and long may it continue, but I wouldn't bullshit over anything like this and I wouldn't want the low lifes who send out these viruses to succeed even against you lot!

    No viruses can harm your computer when the E-mail itself is opened. It's impossible.

    However, E-mails can contain links and attachments which harm your computer when they're opened, so it's always best avoiding those if you don't know where they've came from.

    You should be ok for the time being mate. The vast majority of cases so far have been confined to the USA and Israel, but the nature of these things mean they can quickly spread around the globe.
