Bit rude Toppy. i've been very gracious with your Monksland win when when had a chat about it last night even though I didn't back Zaidpour. Now i put up my honest opinion about the ability of the trainer to train chasers to reach their potential and i get told to bore off??? This was supposed to be the best horse Mullins has had since what? Mikael D'Haguenet? Cooldine? There's a trend there. FL has just beaten him, Tidal Bay has just beaten him. He couldn't jump a twig let alone a Cheltenham fence. That's my honest opinion. Yes, if he could jump better then we're talking about a different proposition who may be able to challenge Bob's Worth and First Lieutenant in the Gold Cup but he's with the wrong trainer to do that. He'll always be a short priced dodgepot at the top table for me.
It was more the fact you called him a Dog- you know thats not true an was just a massive overreaction. I agree that Mullins is overrated but thats another debate He made some horrendous errors and yet he still stayed on to almost snatch 2nd or 3rd. I think he is to be feared up that Cheltenham hill and his course form will be so crucial in March. Honestly- no sour grapes- I've done my bit already with Monksland. All it was was me defending Sir Des Champs- hopefully people know me well enough that I'm not one to go off on one or have a go at folks on here! haha.

`One of the races of the season' - one of the races of the decade for me. Loads of hype pre race and didn't it live up to it. If Flemenstar had stayed he'd have killed them all. I was getting very excited.
