Sky Sports are essentially running a single handed anti-Fergie campaign to try and force the FA to punish him. Pardew shoved an official, yet there wasn't half the uproar about that incident as there has been about this one. They've had referees on calling for him to be banned, as well as countless managers showing their disgust at the apparent 'hypocrisy' that goes on. If managers want a pop at anyone, it should be the spineless FA letting themselves get 'bullied' 'time and time again' by the great one. If he feels he can get away with it, why wouldn't he tread close to the line? Every other manager would. If you saw a naughty child in the street, you'd blame the parents for that childs upbringing and failure to control it and punish it. Why is this any different? Any manager who says they wouldn't try and get away with things if they felt they could are talking bollocks. Hit 'em where it hurts Fergie and boycott any interviews. Especially from those ****bags at Sky.
It does seem that from watching Sky News today, that they have an agenda against Sir Alex. He questioned the referee's decision, but he was not abusive towards the referee nor did he put his hands on any of the officials. Yes he was out of order to confront the referee as he did, but pretty much every manager in the top flight has behaved in that manor before, and gotten away with it. It was up to Mike Dean to report Fergie if he felt Fergies actions over stepped the mark, and he didn't. So that tells me that Mike Dean wasn't that worried with Fergies behaviour
To be honest most online news sites are dedicating whole sections to the anti-Fergie topic... It doesn't matter though, he thrives on it, and his comments to the media have a huge impact on every aspect of football; our players, opposition players & managers, referees and fans. His media handling technique is one his great assets imho.
Probably wouldn't. SSN and all the other parts of the Murdoch empire would simply start reporting the fact SAF wasn't doing any interviews as being news. They'd happily report on their polishing of turds if they thought it would squeeze a wee bit of money out of the ignorant ****s who read the Sun and listen to SSN like it's the voice of God.
Did anyone watch the start of the Arsenal v Newcastle game on ESPN this evening? Some daft bint sent out to interview the managers pre match and she's asking Pardew about Ferguson and won't let it drop when it's irrelevant to the match about to be played? All managers should ban pre and post match interviews with Sky, the BBC and ESPN if this type of journalism is all they can come up with. **** 'em.
Premiership football is the new Hollywood And the media, sky, press especially the tabloids, report any single event, interview, action, irrelevant incident. Did anyone see ESPN showing wenger struggling with the Zip of that long coat of his?
I agree 100% with the title. The less we hare subjected to drunk rants and lies the better. Think of the children....oh wait
