You'd think so given the pathetic whining and crying from the media and many rival fans.

<wah> Big bad Ferguson should be banned for 10 years <wah>

I haven't seen anyone say he's the only one to do but we all know he's the only one to get away with it time and time again <ok>

Hard to ignore but probably the best policy.
There's not a single fan on this forum who can say hand on heart that their club manager never has a go at the ref.
I'd love to hear from them if they can.

Was just listening to the radio, turns out, in talk sport world, that all of the fat Spanish ****s facts were in fact facts. Because he mentioned Fergie having a go at mike dean. They all must be then! Because Fergie having just had a go at Mike Dean.

I mean, for **** ****ing sake. The logic of your average football fan.

Except that he has banned before and other managers have got away with similar things in the past.

This notion that Sir Alex gets away with everything is bull****.

The ridiculous thing about Rafa's rant was that Sir Alex had only just served a touchline ban (why would he banned if he gets away with everything?) and Rafa didn't get into any trouble for saying Sir Alex had too much control over the FA (is that not bringing the game into disrepute?).

I did see the incident on MOTD. Those of you who know me will know I don't like Ferguson (I know a good few united supporters who don't, including my reporter mate), so it's hard for me to be unbiased. What I would say is that any manager who behaves like that towards match officials deserves a proper bollocking, and no, he's not the only one who does it. That goes for the players as well. I hate it when it happens.

Can you imagine if Fergie had pushed an offical like that prick Pardew did earlier in the season? The other 19 league teams would refuse to play a league game until he was banned for the rest of the season no doubt.

They're just jealous of his/our success. Terrible thing, envy.

Ferguson said: ‘Alan Pardew has come out and criticised me. Alan Pardew is the worst for haranguing referees. His whole staff, every game. He was at it the whole game on Wednesday.
‘He shoved a linesman and makes a joke of it, and then has the cheek to criticise me. Unbelievable. He forgets the help I gave him by the way,
‘The press have had a good field day out of it. They’ve addressed every avenue, the only one left is Barack Obama.
‘It’s because I’m the manager of the most famous club in the world. I’m not like Newcastle, a wee club in the north east, but that’s life.’

Love the media almost single handedly running an anti-Fergie campaign to try and get him punished. Sky Sports, BBC, all of them trying to stir **** up and force the FA to do something. Fergie should hit them where it hurts and not give interviews to the parasitic ****s.

<laugh> <ok> Love it

Sir Alex, was completely within his rights to ask the referee why he ignored the linesman's flag and allowed the goal. He was also right to ask the linesman why he had raised his flag in the first place. As said previously, he didn't push any of the officials and was no more vocal during the match than Pardrew and his crew but as we know because it involves UNITED and SIR ALEX once again the media make a mountain out of a molehill !!! If the same incident had happened in a Norwich v QPR game, nobody would have known about it, except the fans attending the game

The physical attack on an official is totally unacceptable. What an example to set! Remember a Dutch official got battered to death by irate players. Pardew should have been given a very long ban <ok>

I do agree that there seems to be a witch hunt in the media over this, however I do think that SAF would have been better off carrying out this discussion out of view from the public. Saying that is he even allowed in the Ref's dressing room at half-time?

Pardew got a fine and a 2 match ban for pushing an official didn't he and so any action surely couldn't be as bad as that anyway.

Does anyone know what Fergie said to the refs? For all we know he could have been asking how their Christmas was.
