Its stand up and be counted time. Will this be the first double Hull have recorded against their West Yorkshire rivals in 25 years, or will Leeds bounce back from the midweek loss at Forest firing on all cylinders.

Hull, under the leadership of Bruce have invested heavily over the Summer are the inform team of the division, and are sitting pretty in an automatic place after recently recording away victories at Derby and Watford, as well as a home victory against Huddersfield.

Leeds have had 6 wins and two losses in their last eight games, with unexpected victories against Leicester and Palace in recent weeks.

Leeds boss Neil Warnock has no fresh injury worries for the trip to Hull City on Saturday. Captain Lee Peltier is once again expected to be rested after missing the game at Nottingham Forest on Wednesday due to a persistent groin injury.

Rodolph Austin returned from long-term injury at Forest and he is expected to continue in midfield. Leigh Bromby and Ramon Nunez remain long-term absentees as Warnock as an almost fully fit squad.

Former Leeds defender Alex Bruce will once again be missing for the tigers. Bruce completes his three-match suspension for his sending off against Huddersfield Town earlier this month.

David Meyler has returned to parent club Sunderland after he missed the game with Leicester through suspension. £2.6 million summer signing Nick Proschwitz could return to the side after Hull missed a host of chances against Leicester.

Sone Aluko returned from injury against Leicester and the clubs leading goalscorer is expected to continue in the side.

    Team News

    Hull City
Alex Bruce completes his 3 match suspension.
    Nick Proschwitz could return.
Aluko expected to continue in the side.

    Leeds United
No fresh injury worries for Warnock.
Peltier expected to be rested again.
Austin expected to continue in midfield.

    Dangermen

    Hull City
Sone Aluko- The Nigerian midfielder was linked to Leeds in the summer but joined there rivals Hull City and has been a revelation for them scoring 8 goals in 21 apps for the tigers.

Robert Koren- Another midfielder who is finding the back of the net for the Tigers. The experienced Slovenian has managed 6 in 21 for the Tigers and him and Aluko will surely cause problems for Leeds.

    Leeds United
Luciano Becchio- Luciano has come back into form recently and has rediscovered his old ways. Scored a brilliant goal against Boro and a header to get the Whites the 3 points. Is on 17 goals this term now.

Jerome Thomas- Out of all the loan players, Jerome is the one I'd like to sign most. Has pace and trickery and is always looking to get forward at the opponents back line.

    Enochs Prediction
After the disappointing performance away to Forest, hopefully we will be out with a point to prove. Austin didn't look fit or ready but I'd prefer him to Brown in midfield. Norris needs to come back in I think as he has looked good at times this season. We need to get stuck into there midfield as they pack it out and thats where a lot of there goals come from. Around the 60 minute mark I'd like to see Somma, Mccormack and maybe Hall depending on what the result is and what we are chasing. Hull are second and are flying, they will cause problems and create chances. We are only 2 points off of the top 6 and I believe we could very well hit back out and win this match. Hull City 1-2 Leeds United.

Over to the Tiger and Elland Road faithful
    Keep the banter flowing,
    Enoch

If you can keep eleven men on the pitch it'll be a draw.

If you can't you'll get mullered.

    IMO.

I reckon we need to change the team from Forest. I know it can be an over reaction but there is absolutely no balance to it and thats why I feel we struggle. Not only that, a blind man could see what was going to happen against Forest and would've made subs considerably earlier but lets leave that one for now.

My starting 11, which obviously will be nothing like Warnock's would be something like:

    ------------------------------------Kenny----------------------------------

    Lees-------------------Pearce---------------Tate----------------Drury

    Hall------------------Green----------------Brown-------------Thomas

    ---------------------McCormack----------Becchio----------------------

Austin in for Brown if he is fit enough how ever he looked nowhere near fit enough against Forest so I wouldn't count on it. Byram had a terrible game imo and I feel as though its because he is not being bled into the team as he should be. I'd also be incredibly tempted to play Somma over Becchio but I doubt he is ready, I think it would just completely throw Hull off of what they expected and not only that Somma can actually control a football.

Anyway, not particularly expecting a great result

Thomas runs out of steam, start with McCormack or Diouf out wide and bring Thomas on at half time, as for Brown drop him and put Norris back in.

Did we invest heavily in the summer, I thought we'd only actually bought one player(who we don't play) and signed a load of frees and loans?

Think someone forgot to do there homework on this one OLM. Although spending around 3mil could be classed as 'spending heavily' when Bates has had your purse strings. 2-1 City in an entertaining game.

Nick Proschwitz cost £2.6 million, and with the other signings / loans it must be about 5m. Loanees aren't free you know....

Aluko cost nothing, Quinn 100k, Bruce and Jakopovic were free agents and Elmo, Brady, Amos and Meyler are loans. We'll be contributing to the wage's of the loan players. 5mil??

    3-1 HULL CITY.

Unless Leeds have been handing out Brown envelopes .

The only way Leeds can win is if they Cheat , Dive or kick there way to victory. .

To be honest Becchio is a very good forward who could well win you any game, your back 4? Is a big worry for you though isn't it??

    Stockdale and Meyler?

OK, they have both just gone back to parent clubs. Both probaably on 20k a week, and suppose we'll have to wait and see if Rangers want to challenge you in court over Aluko, again, whose wages I'd imagine will be 15k plus a week

    Franchise
    Revie's bungs
    Out of town glory supporters
    Elland Road falling down
    Leeds team are crap
    Living in the past
    Bates is still in control
2-3 in the home game, therefore Hull will hammer us
    Tiger songs are ironic
Singing WACCOE and MOT is gay
Becchio, Diouf etc. are dirty players
    Warnock is a ****er
We only hate Alex Bruce because we're jealous
    Our home support is terrible
    No-one is really boycotting
    Leeds is a RL city

Just thought I'd get those in before the usual suspects, so we can have a decent match thread for once.
