Tormenting the media is one of Nigel's joys at the moment. I love it when they approach the same question from different angles hoping to trick him into an answer....they must think they are dealing with an amateur. This is a guy that can talk for half an hour and tell you nothing. Unlike Harry Redknapp...you don't need waterboarding to get secrets out of him.

I see what you mean, but surely that was an off the cuff remark taken out of context, the Press clasping at any crumb and making a mountain out of a dung heap as usual. What Steve said was more clear cut, he is demanding answers through the Press rather than tapping on the Gaffers door and asking for a chat.

Allegedly Reading have been interested in him. Don't know much about him but we will learn more in the ANC next month. Problem is we probably couldn't play until late Feb. Think we nee some-one earlier. Dede would do!:biggrin:
 
BIRMINGHAM City have admitted for the first time they rejected a £6m offer from Saints for goalkeeper Jack Butland last summer.

Again shows NC's committment to improve!
 
With you there Mikey! I note that City are prepared to offload Lescott for £8m. That's a lot of money for a 30 yo!

I wouldn't be adverse to paying something in that neighbourhood for Lescott. Would be adverse to paying him the 90k a week he's reportedly on, though.
