What great support we have! We are bottom of the football league holding up 91 other clubs Cheltenham are currently 3rd in the promotion places just 3 points from the top. No doubt about it, this will be a tough ask for us to get anything from this game. I suspect a hammering if im honest. But 1 thing is for sure.... 1419 gasheads will be there cheering on the gas which is fantastic support http://www.bristolrovers.co.uk/news/article/cheltenham-sold-out-563394.aspx How many teams who are at the bottom of the football league will have this amount of following on the road in a game that we will get most likely hammered? Our fans deserve better from the club.
we have more on our travels than what some clubs get as home support! we took 480 away at aldershot. official attendance 2862. thats not far off a quarter of the ground being away fans.
Any result from this game would set up a thriller against Argyle, I am with your opinion though that we could suffer a bit of a battering if they are at their best, lets keep fingers crossed.
think we should play the following formation and line up to make sure we get a point ----------------gough--walker---------------- smith-woodards-kenneth-bolger-paterson-brown ---------------clucas---parkes---------------- ---------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------- --------------------eaves---------------------
Thats really good for the 35 mile journey. CAPSLOCKED and his Nissan Prairie will be leaving Tesco car park at 2.20 to transport the R.A.T.S in luxury, please note the first one to turn up can sit in the front. Also some good news for next season, its only 32 miles to Forest Green Rovers.
Might not even be on. It is predicted that rain will fall in the Chelteham area between 5:00am and 1:00pm

if the game is off.... good thing is we will save this game instead of wasting it. and by the time the re-arranged game comes, ward has an improved side and we can have a chance. bad thing is, another game passes without allowing ward to see the team in a real game and not just in training.
rotherham and cheltenham are not easy games in hand. however i would rather play these tough games with ward knowing his players and with new players on board that the current crop of crap we have so i guess its a possitive. however both these games will cause financial issues for us being a home game vs rotherham which was going to be wards 1st game and time of the year would mean more fans around available to come, that would have been a big crowd meaning more income for ticket sales and beer/pies/program sales as well. today cheltenham will lose money for the same reasons as over 1400 tickets sold for away fans. re-arranged game will get 600 if were lucky. a lot of refunds for cheltenham to make.
