Would you change the team that played on wednesday if so who? Its always tough at Christmas with the games thick and fast and i thought Koren looked tired.

    My Team

    ---------------Jakupovic-------------------

    -----Chester----Faye----Hobbs-----------

    -----------------Evans-------------------

    -----Elmo-----Koren----Quinn------Brady

    -----------Proschwitz----Aluko--------

Agree with Reece. That would be my starting eleven.

I'd stick with the same team and I think we'll hammer them. Evans was poor but we need some bite in the midfield against dirty Leeds and teece doesn't provide it (and he won't play Kenna).

Agreed with this, other than bring in Meyler for Evans

    Jakupovic
    Chester Faye Hobbs
    Elmohamady Koren Evans Quinn Brady
    Aluko Simpson

So unchanged basically. Not sure if Faye will make it (3 games in 8 days remember) but he's far better than McShane and offers a goal threat too. Just a shame he isn't fitter. We need someone like Evans against TWS' hackers despite his lack of quality.

Could Aluko be a midfielder? I think he might be more use further back letting us play with two proper strikers. We definitely haven't seen the best of him yet. The role Knoackaert played for Leicester seemed to get him more involved.

EDIT: I forgot about Meyler too. This makes things interesting, he has to be in there but who drops out? It'd have to be either Koren or one of the strikers with Koren going back up top.

could do with meyler. austin looked a bit out of shape against forest but he's a big unit and we'd benefit from some bite and muscle.

Meyler is due back at sunderland according to O'neill. If not he would be in maybe for Koren for a rest. If Meyler is not recalled I would think he would be permanent on Jan 1st.

Whatever team we put out, Leeds will wilt in the 2nd half, like against Chelsea and Forest. They have a lot of games over the last few days, so go for the jugular in the second half, city to win 3 or 4-1

He was supposed to be recalled for boxing day, but was DEFINITELY training with Alex Bruce and Daws before the squad came out for their warm up, so he is definitely still at City.

This is the game that Prossie will start to become a legend. I feel it in my water.

Cant believe you've put that, when its just been shown increased pressure and physicality is what Evans cant deal with. Was piss poor against Leicester and taken off. Was piss poor against leicester last time and taken off. Was piss poor against Hudders as they were so physical and taken off. He can do no more than pick up scraps and pass it backwards. No left foot whatsoever.

O'neill said that once he was suspended he may as well stay for another few days before recalling him for spurs on Sat.

Ahh but Sunderland won, and picked up no injuries... so maybe just maybe he'll keep the same squad?...

    Jakupovic

    McShane
    Hobbs
    McShane

    Rosenior
    Koren
    Meyler
    Olofinjana
    Quinn

    Aluko
    Prostwitz

    Subs
    Amos
    Faye
    Evans
    Brady
    Elmo
    Simpson
    McLean

Just need to keep things fresh. I've replaced the players who have done the most running. Plus think we need to give Prozzy a chance, because I can't see Simpson scoring ATM.

Didn't know we had two Mcshane's haha

I think Meyler will still be at city for the game on saturday. Sunderland beat Manchester City so can't see them changing anything

Seem to have quite a few left footers with no right foot and nobody seems to consider that a problem.

Good point. I was thinking more because the likes of Cairney might not be involved in the game with people like Brown and Austin all over him.
