Someone has been very quiet about taking this job on. He was a good man alongside GT. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20755396
Henning Berg sacked by Blackburn, along with his entire coaching staff. It looks as though they're too far ahead of the danger zone to be serious candidates for the drop. But after the way the "fans" treated Steve Kean, and Sam Allardyce before him, I'd say that they deserve it. (sorry for the lack of Christmas spirit... but they do)
The second casualty in two days. Sky Sports News @SkySportsNews Blackburn confirm the sacking of manager Henning Berg with immediate effect That seems like a failed experiment, which has cost the club half a season and a fair few points. Who on earth will they get in this time?
No need to apologise - I suspect that everyone else thinks the same, apart from a few oddbobs in Lancashire.
Not(ts) looking good at Forest - beginning to sound like another Pompey http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...ers-result-in-clubs-credit-card-bouncing.html
heard one of their fans on TS this morning saying the same. The fans are really worried that they'll end up in administration by next season...very sad for them really As for Blackburn, i have to agree with NNW...!
I think we can safely say that Forest's owners have no interest in promotion this season. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20855227
NNW - According to the Midlands correspondant on 5-Live this morning, this is a popular appointment. Popular with the local hacks as they like him apparently, but I am not so sure about the supporters.
I'm sure that he's nice to his family and gets his fair share of rounds in, but professionally I can't see why anyone would be excited about it.
Just read this on SSN - a Bollywood star to become coach. Blackburn owners deny it, so there is probably a degree of truth in it. http://www1.skysports.com/football/...deny-ex-Bollywood-star-in-line-for-coach-role
The Sepp Blatter quote here is interesting http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20866989 (nope, he's not talking about a laid back approach to racism, telling gays not to have sex, or suggesting that female footballers should wear fewer clothes)
Oops! But I dont see how they could have a replay for this when we were denied a replay for the ghost goal. Talk about double standards!!!
