Hope the players get to watch Stoke City vs Liverpool match - pressing in defence, quick breaks with one touch football.

Totally agree. We just leave ourselves with too much to do and end up hoping for a draw!

They score a goal from 25 meters out of nothing really, and then goal from a foul. And then the ref didn't give us a penalty. I just can't get over it. You'll see it with your own eyes

Weve been doing it all season, only looking good when we go 2-0 down. We would not be in the bottom 3 if we played like that all game in every game.

It's a bit of a fallacy that we are stronger in the last 20 minutes. There was a statistic earlier this week that showed we have only scored one goal in the last 15 minutes of any game this season, by far the worst record in the division...

We might not score but we do look better. We are awful at the start of matches and only play once we are a goal or 2 behind.

Nevermind starting - why can't we play the whole match like that?

I know which begs the question, why dont we start like that. Even last season when we had no choice but to attack and we won 5 homes games on the trot as it was win or bust. Now we seem to want to keep it tight and sneak a goal instead of imposing ourselves.

Good point. Maybe Hughes brainwashed the players to play that kind of game. No really, I think our players are all low on confidence and don't want to screw it up so they rather pass in their own half without making risk

It doesn't matter who we are playing at home the situation we are in surely should motivate the WHOLE team to go at the opposition, after all they got us in this mess.

this is it in a nutshell. we leave ourselves with a mountain to climb every match and frankly we haven't got the quality (or the drive in some instances) to do it. Against West Brom you felt the only way were going to get anything was to hold on and then hope for a moment of brilliance from Adel. It's not enough.
