Only 2 players are over 80%.Adel and Diakite. Faurlin had 60%. At the beginning of season we at least had good passing. Of course we weren't a real threat on goal but now we even lost the passing. What is happening with the players FFS

It's a shame about Faurlin, he's been anonymous for the past few games. He's got very good positional awareness, and you can see him constantly checking to make sure he's covering opposition passing options, but he hasn't really added much to the attack lately.
Perhaps our passing accuracy is down because we're now simply trying to get the ball into dangerous positions? We seem to be making more chances, and have gone a little more direct. Perhaps we were trying to be overly precise earlier in the season and pick "the perfect pass", which meant a higher percentage, but fewer chances :)

Interesting view mate. Maybe the right one, but I feel that at least our CM's should have high percentage. In club's all around the globe central midfielders have most passes and highest percentage. From Xavi, Xabi, Arteta, Pirlo etc etc. I was so happy with Faurlin and Granero at the beginning but they're so off their game right now it's unbelievable

Thats a good point El Pirata.

Granero and Faurlin back around the Spurs away game looked like they would forge a great partnership - now they are well off the boil.

Perhaps you've set your expectations too high with comparisons of this sort.

    I don't expect 98% like Xavi but I don't expect 60% either

Why use them as a basis of comparison, then?

Faurlin is normally excellent at retaining possession, but in a team bereft of confidence it's probably been hard for him to maintain the form seen in previous seasons and briefly at the beginning of this current one.

I used them because they play the position just like Faurlin and I wanted to make a point. Where did I wrote he should have their percentage ? Please show me. I think he's your fav player so you're taking it too much personal.

Not sure where you got that idea from! You brought up Xavi etc, not me. Your point might be a valid one, but you chose to illustrate that point by referring to the best central midfielders in Europe. You could, or perhaps should have, compared them with players playing central midfield in teams at the bottom end of the Spanish and Italian leagues. Then we might find out how our poor possession and pass completion compares with other struggling sides.

Ok not the best comparison from me. My point is that our CM should be the best passer of the ball. He's the one that dictates our game and if he's miss placing passes we can't play our game.
