Charles you are massive deluded And why do you think every thread should end up as a discussion about Hull? We dont care, if you have nothing meaningful to contribute stay off the threads and stick to this one
He's worth whatever we are willing to let him go for. We don't need the money, but if Arsenal are willing to offer around £10m, then it would be bad business to reject it. You have to think not about players values, but how hard they would be to replace. Most top players are not willing to drop into the Championship, so we probably wouldn't be able to replace Knockhaert, which could cost us promotion - then how much would we lose out on? Of course £10m is well over his value, but you have to look at the big picture.
If the Hull fans can't understand your analogy maybe this will help - When Pearson went back to Hull to enquire about the availability of certain players, your petulant chairman doubled their valuation to Leicester - See, it's simple, if a club doesn't want to sell, they can set their valuation unrealistically high - Or do you believe only Hull have the right to do that?
As proven many times the Hull fans dont understand football. There is 2 types of values What the player is worth in the market and how much the player is worth to the club For example Danny Drinkwater wasnt worth much to Man U and we paid 1M and we will say thats his player value Say he hasnt improved or got any worse since then He is a massive player for us so anyone wanting to buy him would have to blow our socks off so would need to be looking around 2-3M and thats his value to the club Charles surely you even understand that
You can have him for £20 .. Steve Bruce doesn't rate him in my opinion which is why he hardly gets on the pitch. Waste of time buying him IMO . I'm not a footy manager , never could be one either but IF Steve Bruce thought he was a decent player why the hell won't he pick him..
Well, Aluko sure is keeping him out. I think I under rated him a touch before, he has a lot more strength than I thought and is fast and can pass. A fine little player you have with him. Not sure about El Mohamady (sp?) he couldn't cross for **** and got out paced by Koncheskey.
If you think Elmohamady can't cross a ball it shows how much you know about football - nothing. He's the best crosser of a ball our club have had in over 20 years and probably the best in this league. If we had a tall CF he'd have the most assists in the league.
We both need our strikers to get in the groove or buy someone who will. What are the odds we both go up as automatic?
To be honest I think Prozzies a decent player but he doesn't like the ball in the air, seems much more comfortable receiving the ball to feet. Although, against Ipswich, Elmo's superb cross did find Prozzie who put it away very smartly to win the game.
I'm not suggesting he's bad at crossing in general, but today he was poor. Brady was just as bad, I noticed that no cross met a strikers head and he'd have to be upwards of 15 foot to have a chance.
Elmo had a major, major off day today! I agree with Scarbs about Proschwitz, what is the point in buying him if you are not even going to play him? This could actually work out if he played more, but obviously King Brucey doesn't rate him!
We ARE both going up Horsham... Either both automatic or one Automatic and one as play off winners BELIEVE. That way we can carry on Banter / friendships or Dislikes in the Premier League next season . Good game today. 2 decent teams . 2 Decent Managers. Think We came closest to a winner via Simpson. Doh. But could have gone either way. Next up Leeds .. Who I hope we stuff Reason I hate Leeds ? All the Leeds Whites going back to the late 60s More kids ' supported ' Leeds when I was at school in Hull... Traitors the lot of em ..
Simpson should have scored but you can say it was equally good defending that prevented it. Watch De Laet's run to block it on the Football League show (when is it on?)
