They probably shaded it, though we had the more clear cut chances. Draw fair result. I thought Brucey needed to change it earlier second half. They dominated for 25 mins second half. Quiny, the cross at the end for Simmo was superb, tho he wants his arse kicking for the short corner at the end of the first half! Jako did well, really committed. Pleased for him. Faye, the beast. TC put in a beauty of a cross in the last 5 minutes, no point as Faye had gone off!! I said in the previous fixture Evans had a shocker, even worse today. My lad did a tally on him, 13 passes, 7 to the opposition and the left footed cross to the corner flag!!
As I said in the other thread, Jakupovic for me, he made some top drawer saves today and the other players look comfortable having him behind them. After that probably Quinn and then Hobbs (although I think it was his slice that led to their chance in the second half).
Must have been a hectic boozed up Christmas at the Evans household, big brother johnny scored in the wrong for for united too...
Top 3 1. Chester, soooooooooo classy. 2. Quinn, what an engine. 3. Aluko, probably the most skilful player we've got. Evans has been better this season than last season but today he was poor. I love Elmo to bits but it just didn't happen for him today. Hobbsy looked rusty and nervous compared to Chester, hopefully will get better over the coming weeks.
