How longs Billy Sharps loan for? He maybe available in January now if it's just a 6 month loan...

 

Absolutely barking decision! Terrific manager - he would have my first choice for City back in the summer. And he was doing a good job there too.

I just looked at a Forest board and they're furious and mystified by the decision.

 

Wasn't he the choice of their players at the beginning of the season?

Utterly bizarre, as said above, they must have somebody else lined up. Probably the worst time to sack somebody, especially with the January window coming up.

 

Or possibly the best time to get a new manager in who can then bring in the players he wants for the remainder of the season.

Just heard on SSN that the owners wanted an "Ambitious manager with Premier League experience"... and the first thing my dad said was "Bet they go for Bruce."
I personally think this is set up for Mark Hughes... but do you think Brucey would be tempted if Forest came calling?

Couldn't see Bruce leaving here for them anyway, he's got a good squad of players here that he's partly put together, we're doing well in the league, and like he said on Blunderside the January window is just a case of seeing who's available rather than trying to sign targets you really want, so he wouldn't really have the chance to put his own squad together there. Plus their fans are some of the most hypocritical bunch of cretins to walk the earth.

Because Bruce is a top quality manager, who's steering a good side to 2nd place in the league. Why wouldnt they come calling?
Hopefully he says no and the Allams rebuff the Forest ponce's offer if they do ask.

I think you've misunderstood my thing here, Im not saying he HAS been offered the job. Im just saying he'd be a bloody good option for them, but I think he's loyal to City anyway so wouldn't go anywhere
