Spurs so boring to watch under AVB. He's taken all the good principles of Redknapp and undone them. They look better defensively but nowhere near as good going forward. They struggle to get more than a goal a game now. Villa have been poor and offered nothing but they're still well in this game.
We do lack creativity at the moment, but then that's to be expected when we've lost Modric and van der Vaart without really replacing them. We look pretty solid in most games, especially since Lloris has settled into the team, but we lack that cutting edge to undo teams somethings. Our opposition have mustered 3 shots on target in the last 3 games. That's in total, not each. Hopefully we'll bring in someone to open sides up during the transfer window. Probably not, though.
have a nap & leave spurs alone tbh spurs are unpredictable but I agree a creative mid will do alot for them
The only thing I feel that is and will cost Spurs eventually is their inability to beat the big sides/teams around them. City, Everton, Chelsea and Arsenal have all beaten them. That's a massive point swing. With the exception of City, Spurs would be a country mile clear in 3rd had they even drawn against those teams. I really do think whoever finishes 4th and 5th, there will be little in it. Spurs for me are as good as any side away from home against the bottom half but not so much to the better sides. The derby against Arsenal on paper is the hardest game we play from now until February 25th. Our good early form against the sides around us has left us in a stronger position than our rivals.
http://shop.tottenhamhotspur.com/product/spurs-rivalries-a-triple-dvd-collection/51684/ http://www.officialwesthamstore.com/RIVALRIES-DVD-ILC-test It's funny when fans of these clubs tell us we aren't a big club, yet they continue to release DVD's of wins against us. Clearly beating us must mean more than beating say.... QPR or Fulham.
Hah Bale suspended for 5 bookable offences - all of which were dives. One of the biggest cheats in Europe! Edit - just checked BBC, results really aren't going our way so far today.
WBA just denied a stonewall penalty and then Man U go up the other end and score from an own goal, you couldn't make it up. City running riot at Norwich
I see it more of a must not lose than a most win. We go 3rd with a draw and with a game in hand against Southampton and a home game against QPR we should be winning both of those and still be in good shape for top 4.
