stupid commentator started celebrating but it didnt go in and i shouted out YES thinking we scored. twat.
full time 2-2. dont know how as sounded crap. but players fighting for each other. we will need this fighting in each game and more while ward adds quality in jan.
Not sure about the 4-5-1 formation and we need some serious player recruitment in January hopefully Ward got some lined up
ward can only do his best with the crap he inherited. doubt we would have beat aldershot or got a point if MM was still in charge.
It was like watching a lake forming on the pitch £6 for Bridge, fuel for the trip plus everytime my daughter goes to football she has to have a KFC But all in all, I don't blame them calling it off, plus it started raining probably after Watford fans left so can't blame the club on that one. I wouldn't of liked driving back to Watford it was a 10 minute walk from the car each way and I was soaked through. Driving back to Watford in soaking wet cloth's would not of been the best feeling ever
Hope the rest of your week is better ROD. I was hoping for 7/8 points from these four games. Any more would be great but probably unrealistic. Now we need two wins from the next three games. Big ask but that's what we've got to do to stand a chance.
I sit in the Dolman on the second tier first row and it was blowing into there, my jeans were like I fell in a river I know some are whinging on, on our site but the club IMO done the best they could to keep the game on. They don't seem to understand that it was ****ing hammering down because they were undercover they think the pitch is. There was no way it was going to soak away.
why didnt they put covers on, i knew it was going to be bad weather today, surely your club knew that as well. think more could have been done. could have put the covers on over night and only took some off either side to allow the players to warm up and just as the players were to come out to start the game, then take off the covers. might have had a chance then. it did piss down though so dont know if the game would of last if the covers stayed on to kick off.
CHELTENHAM UPDATE Bristol Rovers supporters are advised that Cheltenham Town’s Whaddon Road pitch is playable at the moment (Friday afternoon), but staff at the club have advised us that there are concerns about the game going ahead if the weather forecast for tomorrow is correct. It is predicted that heavy rain will fall in the Cheltenham area between 5.00am and 1.00pm on Saturday, which is of some concern to the groundstaff. They have promised to let us know what the situation is in the morning and we will, of course, pass on any information as and when received.
