I have my doubts about Downing and Cole leaving now. Cole should anyway, Downing is at least back up for some back up. Anyone else think someone might bid for Suarez?? I fully expect him to leave in the summer if we continue the same way this season, can't blame him either.
Yup, wouldn't be surprised at all. But he's just signed a 5 year contract so the price will be high... We should just sell the whole team tbh, buy a new one -.-
Suarez has also said numerous times that he has absolutely no intention of leaving. Part of me thinks him leaving wouldn't be the worst thing in the world because I think he forces us to play in one and one way only. However, he is a top player and we don't exactly of them in abundance so we would be stupid to let him go too.
I wish we had more players with exotic names. Henderson, Downing, Johnson, Allen, Kelly... Our best players: Skrtel, Agger, Johnson*, Suarez, Gerrard, Lucas, Enrique.. Brilliant names, apart from Johnson.. I mean c'mon, we have no players with "o" at the end of their names, apart from Suso.. Liverpool have DEFINITELY held talks with Birmingham over Butland and it seems certain Michael Ngoo will sign for them in Jan on loan. Not sure what the plan would be for Butland where we to sign him, perhaps buy for low fee and loan him back for rest of season If Butland is signed, without doubt it casts a shadow over Pepe if not immediately in the next couple of yrs IMO , GK , is a position we dont need to spend cash, Will Hughes from Derby would be a far better option, if we are spending for the future or even Redmond from Birmingham
haha, he's absolute ****e. If he's considered a player good enough to play for Liverpool in 2013, then you've fallen further than I thought. As he's nowhere near good enough to have even got a sniff of a Liverpool shirt in days gone by. Butland is a great young keeper, bye bye Reina in the summer if he lands.
be surprised if he went that quick TB. Hopefully he will get at least another season to see if it has given him a kick up the ass to perform better and have proper competition for his place. Too many players in the team have got complacent as no competition for their position, well not quality anyway, we have plenty of potential.
Butland is what? 19? He is years off the first team for our level. Though he is very good for his age.
Thing is, if we don't get Butland someone else will. If he's the right player then this is the right time.
