We have gone into a mode of " no need for a defence. We'll just score more than you " we will need to stop letting in so many goals soon. Only 5 teams have let in more goals than United. Even the useless miserable scousers have let in fewer...

it is our mid they are not closing them down when we play the oldies, and thus giving them space and time to attack us

Why didn't we play cleverley at the start? SAF is constantly taking these risks. It may blow up in his face, let's hope not.

Lets just hope we don't see Giggs and Scholes start again!

Probably just resting people for the large congestion of games in the coming weeks. My guess we'll see Rooney play against West Brom with RVP getting rested. Also probably see Evans or Rio get rested.

You guys deserved the win. RVP is a c u next tuesday and fouled Colo for the equaliser but regardless, you deserve the win. I will say it now... Congrats on number 20. You may have been rubbish today but you certainly grind out results too often to blow a 7 point lead

Could have gone either way today though both teams defend poorly but really going for it up top.

Good luck for your future fixtures!

Thanks guys. Arsenal are not as strong as you in attack and we may have Ben Arfa back. We might get something there. Stiffen up at the back (Vidic will help with that) and you will coast the league. Your attacking prowess is unbelievable.

To be fair your 2nd goal was offside, so we both got a dodgy goal, which evens things out.

The main reason you guys have struggled this season in my opinion is the Uefa Cup, you guys have a strong first 11 but you don't have a strong enough squad to play on Thursday and then be at your best on Sunday. I fancy now the Uefa Cups ended you should climb up the table abit, possibly into the top 10 eventually

tbh even if he was offside .. he didn't touch the ball .. it was debatable decision for me ..
they outclass us in 1st half and they were close to win it

I haven't seen the game yet so can't give my own opinion, but all the boys on soccer Saturday thought it was offside, as the player in an offside position affected what Evans did. Therefore was affecting play. Only going by what they've said though

am sure they were UTD fans mate .. it is tricky bcz he didn't touch the ball .. otherwise every shoot going to the goal , GK may claim someone offside blocked his view thus active.. this is why it was debatable
sorry to miss the game .. that was real drama

Warren Barton, who played for Newcastle and Eric Wynalda who is an ABU both agreed it was offside on the post game show here in the States.

This. The rules state you are offside by interfering with the player if you are in an offside position and make a movement which clearly distracts an opponent. Hard not to argue that Cisse running right behind Evans didn't clearly distract him, tho' it is a difficult one to judge.

Anyone standing in an offside position and blocking the keepers view during a shot is deemed to be offside. They changed that rule specifically after RVN started deliberately standing in front of the keeper to distract him IIRC. Cos the FA just love to make it easy for Utd <ok>
