Green should have had a long range low shot like that covered off. Once again we have to fight back from behind - just hope WBA don't get a 2nd goal. We really need a striker to score goals for us - DJ just notched up his 9th goal for Ipswich helping beat Charlton 2-1.
I was watching slow motion and tbh Mbia was far away from his position. We had 3 players on our LB position.
This. Goal should definitely been prevented but it wasn't down to Green alone. Like El Pirata says, the midfield was at sixes and sevens for the goal.
It was still a 35 yarder that bounced twice before hitting the net, he was very slow to get there which seems to be a feature of his play. Diving when its too late.
It's all too easy to blame Green for the goal, but this is yet again an awful, awful, awful Rs performance. I don't think they've managed to string together 3 or 4 consecutive passes, the usual failure to win the so-called second ball and **** all cohesion.
Agree his diving is poor, sometimes it looks like he just dives for the sake of it. Strange way of stretching for the ball instead of making a proper dive, the goal against Newcastle a good example of this. But the goal today the ball only bounced once, which made it harder to save.
