I mixed it up a bit with the last nomination asking for your favourite target man up front, John Ateyo won that. Now its time to ask for your other favourite striker. It can be anyone, Another target man if you want or it could be a small pacey striker. This is our last Nomination for our FAVORUITE Bristol city team

In the new year we will have a bumper 3 more hopefully exciting threads, 1 of them similar to this <ok>

    The Line Up So far

    ------------------------Gibson---------------------------
    Sweeny--------Merrick--------Collier---------------Bell
    Murray---------Gow-----------Tinnion------------Walsh
    ----------------Ateyo--------------ST--------------------

So my nomination for the other striker position is lee peacock, Being young I haven't seen many great strikers at out club, Peacock and maynard being the only 2 to stand out so far, Would of been maynard but the way he left has lost a lot of respect from many.

    Over To You <ok>

Tom Ritchie. Worked hard and selflessly for the team and also came back, as did Chris Garland, in our hour of need in 1982.
Over 100 goals in 450 appearances.

I would have to go with Andy Cole, for what he achieved with us, and what he achieved elsewhere, class act.

My apologies to Søren Andersen, Andrew Cole, God Taylor, Carl Shutt, John Galley, Steve Brooker, Paul Cheeseley, Tom Richie, Chris Garland, Kevin Mabbutt, Leroy Lita and Nicky Maynard but my vote has to go to who John Motson described his skills as, 'like something from another planet' our great Dariusz Dziekanowski, Jacki will always ensure an enthusiastic misty eyed reminiscence of those lucky enough to witness the phenomenon he undoubtedly was and I'll never forgive Osman for the way he treated Jacki, resulting in him leaving. In My eyes he is a Legend

Jacki for me. Not long at the club but still a legend.
Soren Andersen who had a good season last time we were second tier of football with john ward. Also loved Andy Cole and Wayne Allison.

    Anyone for Bas Savage?

Bob Taylor all day long for me, and he even said our fans are the most fickle supporters he knew, so he knew all fans well then!!

He even sent my son a personal christening card signed by him and his wife, after my brother met him. But to cap it all remembered his birthday the following year to go to the trouble of doing that. Top man in my books and a fantastic player.

    __________________________________________

Funnily enough, I was only thinking the other day that I had not seen a single mention for Jacki in either a midfield or striker position

God I'm having big trouble with this one,I'm stuffed between the great John Galley (91 goals scored),the class act of Tom Ritchie (132 goals scored) and Super Bob Taylor (58 goals scored),all prolific, all class acts.......It's got to be Tom Ritchie,he scored a bucketful of his goals at Div 1 level (eqivalent of the Premier)..

    Tom Ritchie..
