I would like to wish all the posters on Not606 a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.I have not always agreed with some of the opinions on here but I respect your right to give them,as committed Charlton Supporters.Let us hope that Charlton go from strength to strength in the future. Andy
As my Nana used to say "if everybody agreed about everything all the time, what a boring place this World would be". Seasons Greetings to you as well, Andy and here's to a nine-point Christmas and New Year!
Not sure what your angle is, as you seemingly are trying to provoke a reaction. I like to think me and tewkes let us all talk as adults and don't sensor any individuals on here, so I ask that others respect that an keep issues on topic. We've been down this road before and it's not somewhere I particularly want to go again.
There was no angle, no reaction provoking, no nothing - just a few examples of free-speech, all of which were light-hearted parodies of my own character. You obviously don't know my style by now - you have just misjudged me in a really clumsy, heavy handed manner. Therefore, I shall take my presence somewhere far more suitable. Like Combat 18 or The National Front. Seasons' Greetings to you, SuperC.
I am totally lost, why has my posting turned into this?It was just wishing people a Merry Christmas.Confused of Bexleyheath.
Unless posts have been removed it seems an argument just emerged from nowhere there? Anyway, cheers Andy and the same to yourself and everyone else on here. Happy crimbo and all that
Hope you're being a good boy there, Oz or Santa'll fly straight over! Merry Christmas to all Addicks and our visitors! Change of plan here Chez Tewkes Senior - I'm cooking Christmas dinner for Dad and myself at home, as Mum's care home is quarantined by norovirus - gutted not to see her, but got good warning of this, so I bought everything down with me for Plan B. And Mum's OK. Despite the foul weather, hope everyone has a wonderful day.
Got back from the park with the boys..... all three of us completely soaked!!!! and the two boys will take about three hours to dry .... yes Merry Christmas
I am as my turkey was - stuffed! Super day despite a crap cold. Kids now old enough not to be up too early. Just taken the dog for a walk and missed the rain. Some good whisky and a zzzz in front of the box coming up. Bliss. Salt and pepper to one and all (condiments of the season )
Spent Christmas morning doing the washing and hanging it up on the flat roof to dry. Forgot to wear my baseball cap and might have got a bit of heatstroke up there. Hmm, it's been up there an hour. Must be dry by now with this sun and sea-breeze. Wish I was in England getting cold and wet with you guys, but will bear it bravely. Merry Christmas to all on not606 who have been so patient with my long-winded posts and occasionally misfiring attempts at humour. And especial greetings to Waggy, Danny Green, and Jacko, about all of whom I am often abrasive. Will be dining off bananas and avocados today. Nothing else to eat in the house. The supermarket which has always opened on Christmas mornings in previous years has stayed closed today.
