Sure, nobody thought he'd be as bad as he has been. But people should still remember that there was a small number who disagreed with the sacking of COLIN at the time. That's the worst decision the Club made. W*nker and all that he was!!!
With the benefit of hindsight the appointment of MH but signing Park and all fanfare that came with it and giving him the captaincy comes a close second. That isn't hindsight, most of us said so at the time.
In one word..tactics. Playing dodgy back 4 positions, leaving one up front away, expecting SWP to score. thats the bad The good... Nelsen, Mbia and Mackie just for his enthusiasm, the jury is out for me on Park, Granero, Diakite lastly and trying not to be harsh...is it time for Ferdinand to move on ..he has the name , but not the form and has never really shown up in the premier league..there I said it. Christmas is a time for reflection.. Merry Xmas U R's!
Mark Hughes full stop and when signing Jose Boswinga saying im bringing a world class defender to this football club along with all his other crocks, has beens and mercenaries.
The Hughes decision stands out, although I was happy with it at the time. Signing Bosingwa really grates so I'll choose that as a close second.

Absolutely this. Not a mistake to Keep MH after saving us last year but keeping him for so many games was a major error of judgement.
Not having a sensible wage policy for the club. Would have stopped us from signing mercenaries and work harder to sign hungry talent worthy of the shirt.
