Hæ það öll. Only glögg donuts and fruit are on the bar.

We have -1C but the wind makes very much colder. We had a party to visit last night for Þorláksmessa
with some friends from Frú Aks church. There was some skata, hnoðmór and mór. Skatawas two types a little rotten anda lot rotten. Mór is melted tallow fron sheep with membranes and hnoðmór is kneeded tallow that is rotting. All this sounds worse than the food is and is smelling.

Er - do you ever eat 'normal' food up there?

Or is that normal food? <yikes>

Bring some of that to the Etihad and I will find you....

Merry Christmas, everyone. Father Christmas has visited. (He wasn't wildly impressed with the orange juice and mini bagel left out for him, but it was still early in the evening for him). By my reckoning he will be in Australia at the moment.

Has left NSW & Victoria, just arriving in Queensland - off to Western Australia in a couple of hours. :)

Hot work for him at the moment - even though it's midnight, he's staring down the barrel of 26C.

Merry Xmas NZ

I really wonder where the money saved on closing down the 606 site is being spent? Probably on senior managers "resignation" compensation and on the move to Salford Quays - on that topic I wonder what the justification of leaving BBC Radio is London and still running shows like The Football League show from studios in London is?
One thing is clear is that they have not used any money saved on improving their journo's..

Back home for my rural French Christmas after a 6 hour hurtle down the autoroutes from Calais. Pleased to say that the roads around Paris were 'fluid', although it was dry and sunny. 16C here today, not much like winter at all.

Glad to hear that you made it back safe and well OFH, even though it was rather "extended". Hope Saturday was a good day out for you.

OFH - I picked up Tales for The Vicarage for a Xmas present for Little Miss W_Y - has one of the chapters got your mark on it?

It is now very mild in bandit country and the rain has finally stopped.

Well that's the Turkey prepared, the pigs in blankets done, stuffing made and some veggies prepared. Just got to wrap a few presents and I am done for the evening - well until 'er indoors returns from the outlaws with a few new chores!
