Thank god that the return of Ben Amos will happen in an away game ffs where the support the team gets is far superior to home games. Cut Amos some slack ffs. He has not been as bad as some would have you believe. Like it or not we need him to shine and the next 4 games could well make or break his time at Hull City. As for Stockdale, well his tweets appear to indicate that he is well pissed off with Jol and having to return to Fulham. He also says that he cannot wait to return to Hull City. Interesting.
I love the way people just make up rules to suit a theory. Have you seen Watford's starting line-up this season. Edit - sorry, just noticed you said domestic, sorry. You're still talking bollocks though.
I actually thought it was 5 players in a match day squad. As soon as I hit post I saw the next post down from Ellewoods, so this is now a non post.
As we apparently conceded a goal every 66 minutes with Amos in goal and a goal every 150 minutes with Stockdale in goal, it's a very significant loss. And it is five loan players allowed in a matchday squad, Amos could have been on the bench if Bruce wanted him there.
With Faye back in for Bruce @ Derby alongside Hobbs and Chester our back 3 is now actually much stronger. On paper at least. Yes Amos has leaked goals but now is not the time to start raking up old news. He needs our support and he gets mine. FFS, he does not do it on purpose. If anyone wants to have a go then Tweet Martin Jol for being a prick and going back on what he said. Jol said ""we shall only re-call David Stockdale IF anything happens to Mark Schwartzer"" Nowt has sadly. Jol cannot be trusted. As for Amos not being in the match day squad, Steve Bruce said that he has taken Ben Amos out of the fray to allow him some down time and re-assess what he needs to work on. With the break he has had,, Hopefully Amos will come back much stronger.
His reserve keeper got injured in training, what he supposed to do, start a Premier League game with no keeper on the bench?
They have other keepers, FFS. Even Fulham fans think its crazy to bring him back just to sit on the bench. It is.
Somogyi has never played a first team game for Fulham and Stockdale is their player, they obviously recalled him, they'd be mental not to.
Agree totally, it's just bitterness unfortunately. If we were in their position we would have done exactly the same.
Nobody said he wasn't. But i goes against what Martin Jol said. Its crazy just to sit him and with Fulham likely to call off there Boxing Day home game with Southampton (due to the London tueb strike action) Fulham wont play again until 29th Dec. Bad timing for us Yes but also a crazy thing to do imo. Nothing to do with bitterness. I am with the Fulham fans here and it being crazy to recall him. I think this could spell the end of Stockdale as a Fulham player in January now. This is not the first time that Martin Jol has dicked Stiockdale about. Times up,, imo.
The Fulham fans really liked Stockdale, they want him as their number 1. They're saying he's been messed about so much that they're worried about losing him.
They should be worried. Stockdale is well pissed off judging from his tweets yesterday. Jol has messed him about many times. This could well be the final straw for him.
I agree, heard about his tweets. He's a very impressive goalkeeper, but they also feel Jol is really ****ing him about. Expect to see a Hull City bid in January fellas.
So all these outraged Fulham fans will complain bitterly if schwartzer gets injured in the first minute of their next game and they bring stock dale on?? Ffs tickles your an idiot
Your the idiot for posting such nonsense ^^^^^ this. Fulham are known to be chasing another GK already. Fulham fans know there club better than us and i shall consider there views more appropriate than yours on this subject.
Hope we try and sign him, didn't know the Fulham fans rated him but when I saw him play he looked great, think Hughes? was in charge and gave him a run and he looked like a proper top flight keeper.
Jakupovic as the Leicester and Leeds game to nail his claim to the No.1 spot. If he does that then he'll take the heat off us being held to ransom in the transfer window for Stockdale.
Fulham have reportedly had a cut price £600,000 bid accepted for Sinan Bolat (actually one of my favourite keepers in the game, it's an absolute snip at that price) at Standard Liege, so I expect Stockdale to be allowed to leave.
