Points/Postion over the past couple of seasons.

Just been checking out how we have done points wise + postion wise over the last couple of seasons to see if any improvement has been made,

Last season we finished on the same amount of points as we have now and in 14th, the season before we finished with 36 points and 16th.
So if we get any points from the last 2 games and then finish where we are now or higher in the league then we will have improved on our postion of last year (ok only by a couple of points/postion) but I'd rather see us make small steps like this that can be maintained than a big leap forward that could see us over stretched.
If we carry on like this then next season 50+points and a top ten finish.
Maybe I'm just a glass half full type of guy but to me this is an improvement however small and shows that we are moving in the right direction.

your right it'll be a small improvement, better than nowt,

I'm just waiting for them, Personally think we should give him another season. Wonder how many of the Bruce out posy where singing his praises before Christmas?

 

I haven't sang his praises since Haloween, totally unacceptable.

Its still an improvement considering all our injuries and i think some good buys in the summer should help us improve even further next year

You got it - I had the banner I was carrying made for me special by them up the road. It said "BURCE UOT"

 

I was singing his praises before Xmas - and sincerely. Y'see, I was prepared to forget his inability to solve last year's problems. A lot of those players weren't his signings and it was early days, etc. And before Xmas, he seemed to be doing great. Fine by me. But then I found he couldn't solve this year's problems either, and that's why I changed my mind. Now, I believe if or when we hit a problem next year - and all teams do - our season will be over because he hasn't the ability to solve them.

I think Bruce has raised the standard of the squad no end - I'm happy to give him credit where it's due, and Bruce's time here isn't all bad. But I don't think we can go much further with him. We need someone more adaptable.

I sang his praises before Xmas and then we got new information so I changed my mind accordingly. There's nothing odd about that.

 

NOT AGAIN FFS. Can we move on folks, or can you think of nowt while Syds away?,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Done to death folks.
