I'm really starting to believe that this human may be showing very obvious signs of dementia - and the silly visceral allegiances of either side are preventing this fairly tragic situation from being recognised for what it is. I'm not quite sure how else to explain the mental decline of someone who used to be at least capable of forming a coherent sentence.

[h=1]Swivel-Eyed Davie Leggit[/h] [h=3]Celtic, Third Lanark and Rangers' Stolen History[/h] As regular readers of this blog know, I have recently published a book which has shot straight to the top of the New York Times best-seller list faster than Barry Ferguson trying to avoid a Georgios Samaras dummy “throw the ball at your face,” routine. Whilst researching my book, Great Scot – the James Scotland Symon Story, I came across a shocking, sinister revelation. When Charles Green bought Rangers from Duff & Phelps, the history of the club was included in the purchase, so Rangers is still the same club as was formed by the Gallant Pioneers in 1872. What is not so widely known is that a key part of Rangers’ history was STOLEN in the early 1960’s by Third Lanark! I can now reveal that in 1963, a struggling Third Lanark were encouraged by Celtic’s Jesuit-educated Chairman Robert Kelly to take possession of a precious part of Rangers’ history, in a desperate bid to both keep Thirds afloat, and do damage to Rangers. There was a break-in at Ibrox in the early hours of 23[SUP]rd[/SUP] January 1963. The sinister, hate-filled burglar made it all the way to the Blue Room, where he STOLE a piece of Rangers’ history. As was the way in those days, Rangers maintained a dignified silence over the break-in, and said nothing when Third Lanark began to publicly claim a part of their illustrious history. Those days incidentally, are now over for good. Jim Traynor, a decent, honest, hardworking journalist, would not tolerate anyone stealing Rangers’ history today. Back in 1963 though, things were different. Old pals of mine in the auld inky trade south of Hadrian’s Wall often ask me why Rangers make such a huge effort to support the armed forces. I can tell you now that if it wasn’t for the armed forces, there would be no Rangers. Every decent, hardworking, patriotic Rangers fan knows about the Gallant Pioneers. Those four boys who had a dream that was to come so gloriously true over the next 140 years and more. What no one knows any more, thanks to Third Lanark and the bitter, hate-filled, anti-Rangers bigot Robert Kelly, is that the Gallant Pioneers were not only keen rowers. THEY WERE ALSO MEMBERS OF THE THIRD LANARKSHIRE RIFLE VOLUNTEERS! That’s right, the Gallant Pioneers were British soldiers, sworn to Her Majesty Queen Victoria’s service, and formed Rangers as the Official Regimental football team! The evil, sinister, Rangers-hating Kelly knew that if Third Lanark were to go out of business, it would only make Rangers stronger. So the evil, sinister, Rangers-hating Kelly conspired with the Third Lanark board to steal Rangers’ history so that Thirds could appeal more to decent, hardworking, patriotic folk, leading to a boost in attendances at Cathkin Park, the survival of Thirds, and a weakened Rangers. The shameless Third Lanark was not to profit from Kelly’s evil, sinister, anti-Rangers plan. They went out of business in 1967. But Rangers WERE weakened in the years before Kelly’s shameful appointment of the degenerate, sinister, Rangers-hater Jock Stein as manager of Celtic. The theft of Rangers’ history by the bitter, hate-filled Kelly and Third Lanark was responsible for Celtic winning the European Cup, as a weakened Rangers were in no position to stop the sporting wing of the IRA from bullying their way to the League Championship following their loss of a precious part of their history. I have now written to UEFA to demand that the 1967 win be stripped from Celtic’s record, because they CHEATED to win it, by conspiring with Third Lanark to STEAL Rangers’ history. The record can now be set straight. I have informed Charles Green of the sinister theft of Rangers’ history all those years ago, and he is now taking steps to restore that part of Rangers’ patrimony that was so shamefully stolen from them. Rangers’ origins as the official regimental team of the Third Lanarkshire Rifle Volunteers will be restored to the club on a gala day at Ibrox in February next year. Before the home match against Queens Park on 9[SUP]th[/SUP] February, a ceremony will take place to hand back this precious part of Rangers’ history. It will be attended by First Minister Alex Salmond, Sandy Jardine, John Greig and other great names from Rangers’ glorious past, including Alex Miller and Tommy McLean. Guest of honour though, will be the Chief of the Defence Staff, General Sir David Richards. He will be there in order to restore Rangers to their rightful place at the heart of the Armed Forces family. The General will present Charles Green with the colours of the Third Lanarkshire Rifle Volunteers. The colours will then be restored to their place of honour in the Blue Room, where they belong. The Royal Regiment of Scotland will also parade on the pitch before the match and at half time, they will take a lap of honour around the track. Coming hot on the heels of my revelation that Rangers are to be sponsored by the Ministry of Defence from next year, this confirms Rangers’ rightful place as the Armed Forces Club. ……. My sources within Ibrox tell me that Head of Communications Jim Traynor, a decent, honest, hardworking journalist, is set to blow the lid on master of the dark arts Peter Lawwell’s control of the Daily Rhebel. The decent, honest, hardworking Jim Traynor is the most formidable presence in the Scottish game, and master of the dark arts Peter Lawwell’s days as the shadowy puppet-master of Scottish football are OVER! ……… FINALLY……… Sources in the City of London, auld pals in the old inky trade who spent their careers working on the City desk and still meet up with their old contacts, tell me that Charles Green, Imran Ahmad and Brian Stockbridge’s share issue is on track to raise £30m, on top of the £30m the MoD is to invest in the club. Charles Green is set to give Alistair McCoist a £15m warchest for his assault on Division 2 next season and tomorrow, I’ll be revealing the Rangers scouting team’s sensational targets! Here! Having generally read most of these blogs Dev has posted, I cannot get my head around what sort of mind the author possesses. The blogs are in the main so ridiculously non-sensical and inflammatory that one wonders if Leggo is actually insane or if he simply gets some maniacal pleasure from deliberately appearing to be so - either way, he appears to be a very disturbed individual.

Tuesday, 8 January 2013 PHILMACGIOLLABHAIN A BIGOT ... NOW IT'S OFFICIAL PHILMACGIOLLABHAIN has now been officially branded as a bigot by the powerful and completely neutral Press Complaints Commission. For I can reveal that the PCC has ruled in favour of the Scottish Sun after the newspaper said, in an editorial in September, that Philmacgiollabhain was tarred by the brush of sectarianism. Which in layman’s language, meant they called the IRA supporting, Philmacgiollabhain, who remains a senior official of the National Union of Journalists, a bigot. The Scottish Sun’s outburst against Philacgiollabhain came when they withdrew from a deal which would have seen the newspaper publish extracts of Philmacgiollabhain’s book. The Sun's about-turn followed a story in the Scottish Sun on Sunday in which Philmacgiollabhain was interviewed and claimed he had been subjected to threats. The story also trailed his book which, said the Sun on Sunday, would begin its serialisation the following day. However, when Philacgiollabhain’s bigoted rantings were revealed to Scottish Sun and Sun on Sunday editor-in-chief Andy Harries, he quickly reversed his decision and cancelled the deal. And in an unprecedented step, the Scottish Sun published a lengthy editorial – the official voice of any newspaper’s policy – which explained why Philmacgiollabhain was being banished from the newspaper’s pages. It was in that statement of News International’s policy that the Scottish Sun said that Philmacghoillabhain was tarred with the brush of sectarianism, effectively branding him a bigot. Now that claim by the Scottish Sun has been made official and given its blessing by the Press Complaints Commission in an adjudication which backs the newspaper. In an wildly optimistic bid to clear his name, perhaps driven by an arrogance that his top level status within National Union of Journalists would influence the great and the good sitting in judgement on him, or perhaps because he believed, because the newspaper concerned is part of the Rupert Murdoch empire, Philmacgiollabhain complained to the Press Complaints Commission. But now I can reveal that his wild optimism and his arrogance have both been misplaced, for the Press Complaints Commission have reached a verdict and that verdict is the Scottish Sun’s editorial was right to effectively call Philacghoillabhain a bigot. I am able to reveal this, despite the fact that the adjudication has surprisingly not yet been published on the Press Complaints Commission’s official website, even though the verdict in the Sun’s favour was handed down before Christmas, thanks to a top level contact, an old Fleet Street pal, inside the Sun’s London headquarters, who has tipped me off. He has also explained the reason why the Scottish Sun has not published the PCC adjudication in its favour, is that it is not News International policy to publish such verdicts when the newspaper wins. Clearly it would hardly be in Philmacgiollabhain’s interest for him to reveal that he is now officially a bigot. Tomorrow I will reveal just what this verdict means and the wide ranging implications it will have. But for now, it is enough for everyone to know that the Scottish Sun’s verdict in the voice of its official policy, that Philmacghoillabhain is a bigot, has been endorsed by the Press Complaints Commission. And McMurdo, right on cue chips in with his twhap'thworth. David Leggat’s sensational piece today is another nail in the coffin for self-styled journalistic crusader Phil Mac Giolla Bhain’s claims of integrity. The news that the Press Complaints Commission has upheld The Sun’s claim that Mad Phil is “tarred with the sectarian brush” is now independent verification that the tall-tale-spinner from Donegal is a bigot. This is very bad news indeed for Mac Giolla Bhain, a.k.a. Phil White, a.k.a. Phil Gillivan, a.k.a Phil McGillivan and now re-branded by TAL fanzine as Phil MacMentallyUnstable. It is also bad news for Alex Thomson, who wrote the foreword to Mad Phil’s book Downfall, yet another of his fairy tales from Ireland. It is bad news, too, for Phil’s publisher and his arch-endorser Angela Haggerty.In fact, it is bad news for anybody who has in any way promoted or endorsed the troubled blogger’s work because anyone who has done so just may now find themselves tarred with the same sickening sectarianism that so clearly – and now officially – plagues the man of many names. Mac Giolla Bhain’s troubles may not stop there. I understand that there are moves to strip him of his NUJ membership as other members are getting fed up with … well, the sectarian brush. That big splashy brush just keeps on working its magic, it seems. It surely must be an embarrassment to organisations like Radio Clyde, who had MacMentallyUnstable on the Phone-In. And Channel Four, where Alex Thomson works as a prominent news correspondent, reporting on global matters of great importance. As well as writing metafiction about a non-existent criminal underclass supporting a famous football team. Of course, The Sun newspaper was hugely embarrassed by its own toxic connection to Phil The Bigot. At least it very publicly dropped that connection, sparking PTB’s complaint to the Press Complaints Commission. Sadly for PTB, the PCC has ruled in favour of The Sun. Now this is all good fun and more than a bit of a victory and vindication for my blogging colleague David Leggat. Leggo’s relentless - and perfectly righteous – attacks on the deceptions engaged in by Phil Multi Names and Toxic Thomson led to the pair’s vicious attempts to smear him and have him kicked out of the NUJ. But it is much more than just a personal triumph for Leggo. It is also a judgment for good and decency, as well as a warning to other Rangers-hating propagandists and bigots that they will not go about their nefarious business with impunity. Phil The Bigot (official) does not have his troubles to seek these days, it would appear. His lies and smears do not extend to all things Rangers but also include those of his own kind, according to TAL fanzine. The man of many names is making more enemies than friends these days. Being a hate-filled bigot will do that for you… Seems McMurdo don't do Irony.
In the opening sentence he praises Leggat for his blog and in the fourth paragraph he revels in the possibility of Phil Mac Giolla Bhain being stripped of his NUJ membership. Hmm, I wonder if he sees the irony?
Most Celtic fans don't even bother with Phil, yet he continually makes idiots like Leggo and McMurdo froth at the mouth and spend their time writing the same repetitive pish over and over again. Good work Phil
