I've just seen on twitter that his loan spell is now over and he may be included in our squad.

Is this the case? If so, would you play him?

We could do well to throw him in the last couple of games. I really like the lad but he's obviously never made the impact we'd hoped for. I'd have played him up front the past few games, he has to have been better than Shola and Lover.

With Tiote supposedly sitting out the last few games, Barton should be pushed into the middle and Routledge on the right. If he does well we hopefully will get more money for him in the summer.

For me yes I would include him as a better option to have on the bench opposed to richardson or taviner - just for this moment anyway. Watching the QPR game on Saturday he cut Leeds apart a few times and he always seems to play in an advanced role behind the striker or just out on the wing. But he's not good enough for the first team in the Premier League an impact sub at best. He might make an impact for 20-30 minutes against really poor full backs. - Think Wigan Away. I like the guy but he's another one we should look to replace come the summer.

Yes, I'd very much like him back. We can move him on next season if he wants to go (to QPR for example), but with our thin squad it would be a some relief having him included in the event that he's needed. If Tiote is out, we can put him on the wing and hoy Barton and Nolan in the middle as people have already said.

His loan deal will be over but I thought that NUFC had cancelled his contract by mutual consent so he could stay with QPR?

EDIT: (From This Is London - April 20th)

"The former England Under-21 international had two years to run on his contract at St James' Park but was surplus to requirements under Alan Pardew and agreed a pay-off in exchange for terminating his deal."

What Fat Mike and OT said <ok>

Hopefully we can get some clarity today on if he turned up for training something like that.

I can't see how that could be true at all. Pards has the PERFECT buyer for Routledge in QPR, so why would NUFC pay Routledge off to terminate his deal? It makes no sense.

Someone ask Simpson on Twitter? Him and Routledge are mates so maybe he might know something?

I don't think he got included in the 25 man squad so he will be ineligible to play

Wasn't foster included in are 25-man squad despite being on season long loan? I would think it would be the same for Routledge.
